Please read what you've posted here, and see if it makes any sense to you. A young teen's been savaged to death by canines, and you're bringing indecent dressing into the mix. Where's the correlation?

What on earth are you on?

I have a 2007 Red Camry....which I wanted to sell earlier but changed my mind. I can see the cruise control, but i haven't discovered how to set it. I discovered how to double accelerate to turn on the turbo(only on Interstate roads though). I also discovered it has a 3.0mm Audio jack hidden under my dashboard. I used to buy lots of CDs but now my ipod nano does it all for me. It sucks how Nairaland wouldn't let me upload my car pictures. Entity too large according to their error message.

Business / Re: I Have Been Scammed! Read Fast!!!! by UncleDumo(m): 9:13pm On Jul 11, 2012
I am about to start a Business in Port Harcourt, Lagos, Onitsha, Abuja, and Calabar. I need corporate partners that will also invest their time, effort, and money in this business. Most young folks you see around didn't get money their from Heaven, they invested their money, time, and effort in order to be where they are today. They are not different from you, you can be where they are today. Just reply to this ad, and see yourself where you wish to be. I don't live in Nigeria, but i am ready to invest in Nigeria. People will think this is a joke, but as one of the posters said Miracles do happen. I want to see young folks engage in something productive, than doing something destructive. Just to give you a heads up, i am still open to Business ideas, and those with the knowledge should put it to work, and those with the physical strength should also put it to work. I need dedicated minds that are ready to be successful. Success doesn't come in a day. I am a professional, if you contact me talking about a private venture, sorry you will be dealing with the Police. I do use legal powers in everything i do, and also i have personal bankers who takes care of my financial activities.

I am open to any suggestion, and any corporate body should be ready for verification before any business activity.

Politics / Re: Dear Nigerian Youths, How Can You Actually 'Help' Nigeria!? by UncleDumo(m): 10:02pm On Jul 02, 2012
Please disregard my documented nationality, I am still a Nigerian no matter where was born or live. I think the biggest problems we have is poverty and insufficient education. First i want to point it out there that the (POOR) Northerners in particular have been corrupted, and due to their poverty, they have ruled out success in their lives by doing what they are doing today, because they now believe they have no future. I tell you my people, even if the government go out there and share the money, The North will still suffer because of their selfish and devilish statesmen who drew a thick line that can [NEVER] be erased between the middle-class and the poor. I don't think they even have a middle-class...it is either you are rich or poor. I read lots of comments where people are saying Nigeria shouldn't be compared to Westerns countries. I ask Why Nothuh If you know the Revolution of the United States, then you will know that Nigeria have not even started. My Opinions are..Nigerians should learn to trust and believe their decisions, they should learn to hold their ground as a nation, as an individual, as a humanitarian activist. Separation of powers was said to be established, but i didn't see any of that. How can a country with over 160m people do not have if not a county police, but at least a state police. No neighborhood watch, i know how people are desperate to be rich but i tell you when money comes, that's when evil comes in, i don't even know if Nigeria have a constitution that her citizens know about..too many to talk about, but the most important of it is We cannot live without prayers!!!if you know the meaning of "One Nation under God" then you will know the importance of God in our lives, not just for our country alone!!! We have corrupt politicians, but they can be ignored when we look forward to a better education for our up coming youths.

Romance / Re: Ladies, Which Of These Dating Evils Have You Never Done? by UncleDumo(m): 7:12pm On Jun 13, 2012
You know in life we tend to act upon what we see around us. I remember my first girlfriend (6yrs) since from secondary school. She gained admission b4 me, and she changed 100%, and i was like is this for real, but as for me, i no get stress. Anyway i am still cool with her, but she never wanted to tell me she have a boyfriend at her school, until i pressured her, before she told me. I no vess at all, i only told her to be sure he loves her, and he can take good care of her. I go my own way jeje (FYI i never told her the reason why i didn't apply to any Nigerian University because my mom wants me to study abroad). Before she knows it i am leaving and i told her i will be going to school in Texas. But I thank God, that i am still helping her in anyway i can, because i promised from day one( that no matter what happens, i will not see her suffer, while i am alive and well doing(even if she is married to another man)). My promises are still fulfilling and i give Glory to God. Because it would be worse if i am trying to punish her, for what i can't control neither can she. but all the same Life is sweet when you have peace of mind, and believe you will be OK when the time comes to settle down.
Thanks!

Sports / Nigeria Moves Up In FIFA Rankings!! by UncleDumo(m): 10:03pm On Jun 07, 2012
FOR the first time this year, there is something to cheer for Nigeria in the FIFA/Cocacola monthly ranking as the country records an improvement in the latest rankings.

According to the June edition of the ranking released yesterday by the world's football governing body, Nigeria which had in the last six months fell on the pecking order, going down as far as 63rd last month leaped three places to the 60th position this month.

Although the country's national side, the Super Eagles lost two straight friendly matches, the team, however, braced up to pick valuable three points in its opening group F match for a place in the 2014 FIFA World Cup to be staged in Brazil after beating the Brave Warriors of Namibia 1-0 in Calabar last weekend.

The development is a tonic for the Nigerian side ahead of this weekend's World Cup qualifying tie away to Malawi.

Nigeria also improve in the African rankings moving from the 14th to the 11th place but that position is still far from what soccer lovers in the country expect to see the two-time African champions who have made four World Cup appearances.

2012 Nations Cup silver medalist, the Ivory Coast remains Africa's number one in the world as it is placed 16th followed by Ghana (25), Algeria (32) Libya (42) while Mali and current African champion Zambia, jointly stay in the 43rd position.

World and European titles holders, Spain retain its first spot but 1934 World Cup winners, Uruguay dislodged Germany to claim the second spot while the German dropped to the third position ahead of the Netherlands (4th), Brazil (5th) and England (6th) in that order.
Nairaland / General / Nigeria: Crash Probe - Trust Me, Firm Action Will Be Taken - Jonathan by UncleDumo(m): 9:41pm On Jun 07, 2012
Honestly i will say that i am tired of reading news. One quick question: Are these committee members getting paid? and how much is there salary? or when are they going to finish their investigation. in my own opinion, when you spend money on every thing in Nigeria, then the problem will continue. There are somethings that can be done for FREE!!!!

President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday urged Nigerians to trust him, saying that firm decisions would be taken over the Dana Air plane crash in Lagos on Sunday, just as he set up a 10-man presidential administrative and technical committee to investigate the remote cause of the crash which claimed over 200 lives.

President Jonathan said he had directed that the fullest possible investigation be conducted into the remote and immediate causes of the Dana crash.

Jonathan, who was dressed in black attire and a black cap to match signed the condolence register opened for the victims of the air crash, alongside his ministers who were all wearing black attire to mark the three days' mourning period which ended yesterday.

He said the investigation must be done "with a view to ensuring that the proper lessons are learnt from it, and that, going forward, every necessary measure is effectively implemented to enhance the safety of air travellers in Nigeria".

He also directed that tariffs and other taxes as they relate to the aviation industry should be scrutinised to come up with recommendations as to where the federal government can further assist the sector.

The president said, "While the official mourning period ends today, no one can doubt that the pain and anguish of the shocking, sudden and unexpected loss of highly valued lives in that horrendous plane crash will remain with us all long after this day has ended.

"My heart goes out to the immediate families of all the Nigerian and foreign victims of the crash. We continue to pray that God Almighty will grant them divine solace and consolation. I have directed that the fullest possible investigation be undertaken into the remote and immediate causes of the crash with a view to ensuring that the proper lessons are learnt from it, and that, going forward, every necessary measure is effectively implemented to enhance the safety of air travellers in Nigeria.

"In addition to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)/Federal Ministry of Aviation Committee on the strengthening of the financial stability and growth of domestic airlines, I have also directed the coordinating minister of the economy/minister of finance, the minister of trade and investment, the governor of the Central Bank, and the chief economic adviser to the president to further look into our tariffs and other taxes as they relate to the aviation industry and come up with recommendations as to where we can further assist the sector."

Business / Business Advice With A Budget Of N2m by UncleDumo(m): 7:57pm On May 31, 2012
If you like you joke with it, that's your own problem. I go to school in the United States, and i have saved some money that when i come to Nigeria(Port Harcourt) would want to invest in an independent business, hopeful to become an Independent Business Owner (IBO). I had this intention because i don't want to go to my parents house when i graduate. Honestly i love hustling for my own properties, I am 100% clean and positive, I don't ride dirty here. The main purpose for this thread is to know how i can help create employment for other people. I am budgeting 2million, but might add more into it. It doesn't matter what state you live in Nigeria, my dream is to for my enterprise to spread nationwide. Thanks for your important contributions!
Car Talk / Re: Share Your Stories Of Mechanics Who Tried To Scam/Rip You Off by UncleDumo(m): 7:28pm On May 24, 2012
I have this Mexican Mechanic who is ripping me off, but pretty much i will not be greedy because sometimes he is pretty nice in pricing me. But he ate the bad apple recently. I just my Red 07 toyota camry backdoor dashed. He is charging me $800 to fix it if i buy the door, or $1250 if he fixes the door. I am not happy about it, and i don't want to take it somewhere else. I paid $633.25 plus tax for the door, and now he will be fixing it for $800. I bought the door because i realized he is being lazy to work on that door, that's why he is so encouraging me so hard to buy the door. But overall he is a great friend, and mechanic! Credit to him! I ship cars, phones, laptops to Nigeria....hit me up. This is not a paid commercial NL!

realistic1:

If this BH are smart and wise they should use this medium of dialogue to carry out their means, I explain the government cannot be trusted, at the first instance so this guys should never trust the government, so they BH should send their die hard squard, after accepting the truce with the government officials and be prepared to meet and their best men for their mission should target the top goverment officials in that meeting in revenge of the public or judiciary killing carried out 2009.
Besides, we cannot trust this same government who called a democratic government as a Federal government, using force against his populace, from the north to south, to west and east.
Patriot or death,

Do you think you are in your own planet? The fact you are outside this Nation doesn't warrant the refusal of your extradition. If you don't keep quiet and say what you know, rather than letting your loosed brain say whatever comes in, you might end up regretting your life. Do you know what these Sect has caused ? do you know what is called PAIN? you are such a COWARD!!!! No matter how angry you are, you do not have the right to take laws into your hands, hence killing your fellow Northern Brothers, Sisters and Children. The suicide bombers has wives and kids, another suicide bomber will detonate a bomb that will kill his own family. He is dead how does he know about the safety of his family after being brainwashed that they will be fine. I pity all these fools that doesn't know what life brings to a man! North is far behind, and they are still causing more havoc.

I see the rich Northerners are scared because the lower class men are elevating to a higher standard, time will come all the Northern children will know their rights as a Citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. They will stand up in one voice and tell their rich liars called leaders to sit because the long suffering and brainwashing.
