Congratulations to all November mamas that have welcomed their little ones, may God keep them safe from us and keep us safe for them too, as we have known their beginning we will not know their ending in Jesus name. Apologies that my BS is just coming in now, it’s been easy with a new born. Now, to our BS; after I had my son in April 2018, I had a bit of mental breakdown, the pregnancy was very eventful and after birth was extremely stressful so I decided to wait until I was mentally ready to have another since hubby and I just want two kids.
Prior to my son’s birth in 2018, I had suffered an ectopic pregnancy rupture that made me loose my left Fallopian tube but God proved himself and gave me my son 6months after ( got pregnant) despite doctors giving me 50-50 chance as per having a tube left. Early this year, hubby and I decided it was time to try for another cos he doesn’t stay in the country and God willing it was at the first attempt that God showed Himself God and I got pregnant with my princess. Because I had terrible experience with my first I had braced up for this pregnancy but this one was worse than the first; oh Lord! for the 9 months duration I never had my strength back, I had severe nausea, all day sickness even midnight too, I couldn’t take water nor eat as the fear of vomiting made me afraid to eat, I developed severe acne all over my face and neck, skin tags all over my face and neck too, I couldn’t apply cream and I hated some smells, spent first four to five months in and out of hospital as drip was the alternative to my eating, it got to an extent, they couldn’t pass line in the hospital as all my veins became weak and all my buttocks sore from injections, my thighs became the next available option. I stopped salivating at 5months after trying every option given to stop the saliva and I had given up, It took a while before I discovered that body itching will reduce if I stopped using sponge to bathe after I had changed soaps and sponges thinking that was the problem, me that I am pretty oyinbo pepper turned black and ugly , I also had boils on both my eyes that turned to charlazoin to the extent I had to do surgery at 34weeks on both eyes as the boil abi charlazoin began to block my eyes from seeing.In all this I was just thankful to Almighty and praying for a safe and healthy baby. My baby was also always lying traverse each time I went for scan and the pain on my pelvic was out of this world that sometimes while walking/ trying to turn on bed, the pain will hold me from stretching straight ( best description) I will have to stay still until after some minutes when the pain goes.
Prior to my ectopic and previous ELCS for my son which gave me two scars, my gynae/ surgeon booked me for the 6th of November as I had serious contractions a week before and was managed and put on bed rest and also cos of baby lying transverse to avoid the cord from coming out first by accident or any other means. On the 6th around 10am I was delivered of my baby girl that looked like her dad’s photocopy and I wouldn’t trade the cry I heard that’s day for any thing in the whole world. The next day I started sitting and a day after I could walk except for the back ache as a result of the spinal anesthetic and small small things, baby is fine, elder brother is fine, mum and dad are also fine.
I hereby burn my boots and give all babies trying to come my way to GTC moms, your testimony is here already.

Mama, you don’t want to be me at the moment, have had boils on my eyelids(both eyes o) since 5 months preggy and I’m in my 9th month, I just did a minor surgery as it turned to something else, just thank God yours is in your armpit, it will go .

Good morning mama, sorry about the itching, mine started since the beginning of this pregnancy and I’m 31 weeks now still experiencing same, my first wasn’t like this, when I bathe it is annoying terribly that I sometimes feel like crying, I changed sponge, changed soap and still same, what I do now is to bathe with soap alone and no sponge and the itching is minimal. Any other mama(s) with another solution will help out.

Cappo I’m doing fine o, can I say I’m tired already ? The indigestion have been dealing with in this pregnancy is worse, the belching is terrible and annoying plus I have no appetite too. This pregnancy has dealt with me dearly as I do not recognize myself in the mirror again. In all I thank Almighty.
Congratulations to September mamas that have birthed, may Almighty keep them and protect them and to the rest of us waddling mamas, may Almighty grant us safe delivery with healthy babies. Amen

I gave birth to my baby boy today by 3:15. Weight is 4.3kg. It wasn’t an easy birth but nevertheless,I’m way too happy to notice the tears I got.

We are doing fine cappo, just back aches and indigestion at the moment, every other thing is fine and we thank God.

Got married in 2011, waited, waited and waited for pregnancy to come, months ran into years pregnancy wasn't forthcoming.

I and DH finally decided to do IVF, first attempt failed, second failed as well. To God be the Glory the third attempt was successful. Did PT Jan 1 and got a positive results, was super excited n prayed for a smooth journey

First trimester was smooth, aside weakness and tiredness. No vomiting, no nausea

Second trimester was something else, had dehydration headache, took malaria drugs thrice, vomiting n nausea was on n off, took drips, could hardly sleep at night, was given diazepam injection to make me fall asleep, as God could have it we progress to next stage

Third trimester was abit smooth, felt fetal movements more alongside with kicks,could barely walk, heaviness was on another level, also had to treat malaria twice oooo coupled with exams I wrote, which I think led to preterm contractions
At 32weeks started having preterm contractions and difficulty in breathing, vomitted as well and appetite was zero...I was admitted,vaginal examination done and cervical effacement has taken place, God is so faithful pregnancy was carried till 34weeks, despite placed on drugs n complete bedrest contractions still persist

Emergency CS was carried out on Wednesday morning 28/7/2021 to a live delivery of a baby girl (weighed 2.1kg) n baby boy( weighed 2kg)
They are currently in SCBU and by God's grace are doing great and responding to treatment.

All Glory belongs to God, just can't thank him enough for changing my name to mama ibeji, after 10years God Almighty wiped my tears and wore me a gown of joy, happiness.

I wish my team(August mothers) and others mothers a safe delivery, there shall be no loss, you all shall carry to term in Jesus name.

Actual Date of Birth: 10th July
EDD: 9th August
Gender: XY and XY same as seen on scan
Weight: They weighed less than the estimated scan weight but their weight was still great.
Birth time: Born 2minutes apart via a Vertical cut CS due to high risk factors
PCV Before and After: 35% and 25%. No blood transfusion was needed Pre and Post delivery. Iron tablets was part of my Post delivery drugs though.

Birth Story
Prepped for CS in the morning, prayed with my husband and was wheeled into the Theatre. I was given a Spinal Anaesthesia and the Team of Doctors including a Paediatrician started the procedure. In no time I heard the cry of the first twin and just burst out into tears and praises to God. 2nd Twin was born 2minutes afterwards, they were cleaned up and brought to my head side for cuddling and pictures while the Drs continued stitiching me up.

After a while I asked if my husband has seen the babies, they said no, that I had to see the babies first and give the consent for them to be taken out out of the theatre since they're healthy and had no need to be taken out. I asked for them to be taken to my husband in my room cos I know he'd be anxious and waiting. My husband cried tears of joy holding them.

Everything went well, by evening I passed gas so next day ie 24hrs later I was allowed Water, then followed by Lipton tea and Pap. By 3rd day I could eat anything I wanted, so I ate Amala and Ewedu as my main meal for the day. I wasn't allowed to go home because I was yet to stool. I didnt know stooling was part of the discharge deal. So by next morning, I took stooling seriously, I ate Vegetable soup with Semo, drank plenty water and stooled plenty; I was set to go home after that but was told to wait till next morning.

So I gave birth on Saturday and left the hospital Wednesday morning.

My Miracle Boys are doing great. I give God all the glory forever for all he has done, for all he does and for all he will ever do.
