In other words, these clubs don't want to play UEFA Champions League again and they created their own franchise. Why is UEFA so angry? Do they think they have a monopoly over football tournaments?

A lot of business are struggling in this pandemic period and the greediness of some groups or persons has just been exposed. UEFA/FIFA are very greedy and doesn't take into consideration that these clubs now only generate income from TV views, SEO from social media unlike before where it's from TV/commercials, social media platforms, endorsements, jersey sales, etc. while they are roll coasting on their sweat and giving them peanuts in return. I don't blame the clubs for this step even though I don't know the uncertainty when it begins.

Crime / Re: Lagos One Way Saga: Police Arrest Man For Reckless Driving, Assaulting Officers by wristbangle: 5:23pm On Apr 18, 2021
It was pushing and not bloodily injured as stated by the CP. I commend the maturity displayed by the police officer and the offender must face the law. However, outright auction of the car is too severe as other punishment like 3 months imprisonment, revoke his licence not to drive for a year , etc is still okay.

I had hit submit, without answering question nine in one of my exams. Partly, because I was pressed for time, but mostly because I wasn't confident of a-how to approach it. Got home, took a bath, ate, flexed as per thank God I'm done with exams, slept and woke up the next morning to my prof's email, asking why I did not attempt question nine and to do so and resubmit, within 30minutes of receiving the mail.

Na dia my mouth hang. shocked

Ah! shocked This one shock me o. Long time rocky!

Investigation should be done to know if he is guilty of the accusation raised against him. The first step FG should do is suspend him and once find guilty should be asked to resign and face further punishment but this is Nigeria where bad people are raised while good people are condemned to death

There is no rumour without truth laced in it. Sometimes I reflect on the kind of Islamic views some of the northerners hold. Theirs is even more extreme than the terrorists in Arab countries. Shebi UAE, Saudi Arabia , Qatar, Oman are Islamic countries, why are theirs always different?

On a normal day, the government should have inform him to resign and investigate further. These are the kind of people that makes outsiders label us terrorists. Truly, Luggard is wicked!

How much will be paid if they are told to serve in these neighbouring countries? Also, the transportation cost will be on the high side. Have they considered how many people can afford this? Ghana by car is around N50-N60k let alone Ivory coast, Gambia, Liberia or Sierra Leone.
Business / Re: Dangote Is Selling Cement For 1,150 Naira In Zambia by wristbangle: 8:58pm On Apr 06, 2021
samwash:
Let's face the reality, many factors comes into play in the production industry.
lets compare Zambia to Nigria in terms of
Economic growth
Government policies & tax
Dollar exchange rate
Source of raw materials
Market competivenes
Manpower & Technology
Security, Power etc.
A company that has its factory in two different country ( lets say Nigeria & Benin Republic) will not sell a particular product the same price in both country even if they are neighbors.
Note; the value of the country local currency plays a major role that's were inflation comes into play.

I can only agree with the power/logistics factors but others are not excuse for him to inflate the price of cement in Nigeria. Limestone is in abundance, our tax is one of the lowest in the world, and others. Zambia currency is one of the worst in the world yet he decided to sell very cheap to kill competition and then start inflating the price of the commodity.

Let me tell you, dangote business model is to first crash the price of commodity and make business unbearable for competitors, buy them off and start his monopolistic wickedness. If not for the fact that dufil foods ( indomie) were innovative, he almost destroy the pasta business for them.

If you want to know more about his wickedness, ask his employees.

Nigerian politicians deserves brutal crushing to teach a lesson to prospective and incoming looters to abate corruption.

Why accumulate wealth in another's man land with the nation's funds which will be seize, forfeit and most likely becomes another's nation property?

They don't deserve any form of pity and it's best they are annihilated. Such an unimaginable, wicked and demeaning act.

Petyprincess, enjoy your vacation and stop bothering yourself on negative comments. Nigerians, due to the tough economic situation are angry, frustrated and envy people in average, rich and wealthy affluent lifestyle irrespective of their source of income.

I'm praying to God that soon I will get the opportunity for vacation at my preferred location.

Money is good. Baba God bless my hustle this year.

Family / Re: My Fiance Visited My Mother Empty-Handed & Now Our Relationship Is Threatened by wristbangle: 10:12pm On Jan 08, 2021
I sensed lies in OP's story when she said her fiance dressed down to see her mother for the first time when it is not. This can never as a responsible man will dress humbly to impress his in-law with dignity and respect. It was people who choked her before she could tell when he visited the first time, he got her mum gift and dressed as the culture permits. A lady who is capable of painting his fiance bad in people's presence can kill the promising man before his time.

Also, her mum is very greedy. For her to have the audacity to say she offered her the only drink she has shows her inhumane and inconsiderate attitude. I am sorry to say, her husband, OP's dad must have got fed up of her nasty behaviour.

Finally, the OP is not ready for marriage. It's better she sucks her mum's nunu still she turm grandma at home. The young man upon hearing the distasteful attitude of her and mum must have cancelled his plans to wedding her. It doesn't have to be money always. Many young ladies are trapped in abusive marriage because their mother as a result of gluttony pushed their daughters into wrong hands. Example is Regina Daniels. She is feeling the heat little by little. The truth will be revealed someday.

This country is a joke. Another protest on the way.

If they share free prepaid meters to everyone, what happens to us who bought it with our money? Did they put it into consideration in the course of the meeting?

It's a shame the current NLC board are completely useless.

No be Kuku say we dey enjoy stable supply before, so I no understand dem. The generator thieves importing it to the country are one of the problem stalling power sector. They know this will threaten their business.

I see another protest happening soon as the government fail to address the problems confronting the masses.

Just to fix electricity. Does it take rocket science to get it up running?

Politics / Re: Akinyemi: #EndSARS Protests Will Return In 2 Weeks, If Issues Are Not Addressed by wristbangle: 3:16pm On Oct 29, 2020
If more military/paramilitary men are to be recruited, it should be sensible ones and their salary must be review upward so that the existing sane and new forcemen won't be involved in corruption.

About a new protest, I see that happening. From the news gathered after the protest, the politicians corruption has geared to another level. How can it cost N1 trillion naira to fix damages in Lagos? Or cost N2.9billion to print question papers? Etc.

We have been belittled and fooled for too long. Their gimmicks have expired. This time around, the protest should focus on reforms, restructuring, ending bad governance, revamp of economy, etc.

I will gladly join if this will be the next tag of the protest.

The narrative should change already for those still using the hashtag #Endsars.

Sarrki, deep down you know these politicians leverage on the disunity among the youths which has been one of their powerful tool to fight us but when they saw the unity, what the useless institution couldn't achieve in 60years, we achieved it under 2 weeks.

I was around the area where the palliatives was rightfully taken by residents and the joy on their faces can't be curtained.

These wicked souls have dehumanised the masses for too long.

The protest comprises of the whole Nigerians irrespective of their culture expressing our tiredness towards the government.

Seriously, I pray another round of protest continue but this around any hoodlums that attempts to hijack it will face the law. For a seed to grow, it has to die first. To get Nigeria working, it has to be totally formatted.
