Any of them will do but Randy will definitely go with Plumptre there as her ball playing and going forward is better than Okeke’ down!

The Battle against Spain will definitely be in the Midfield, if you can Mark out Aitana Bonmati you have reduced them to 50%, then Mariona it’s Finnish..

I will go with Ayinde and Ucheibe as my double pivot in Midfield with Ayinde doing the Marking as she did to Lauren James! Ucheibe to cover the rest ground left as she’s more like a two player. Once Ayinde tire out bring in Deborah Abiodun to close the game..

Attacking Midfield I will go with Toni Payne ahead of Echegini as we need someone who can hold the ball well, drive and dribble her way through to feed the forwards, Echegini will be better as Sub in that game as she tends to lose the ball occasionally( Probably because our forwards are a bit far away and out of position)..

Ajibade will have to bring her A game against Ona Battle!
Ashleigh could struggle with fitness
The matches have just 2 days break in between & I hear there’d only be 18 players invited
She’s very good offensively but I don’t trust her defense game that’s why I like how Randy made her LB and not CB
Same way Alozie makes mistakes from a defensive point of view
Glad we have good centre backs and defensive midfielders that make up for their errors.
Ucheibe may not be happy playing the centre back again because that could happen
A good number of players would be disappointed because they would be dropped for the games.
Just 18 players. Oh my

Group a 1st & 2nd
France & Canada to qualify

Group b 1st & 2nd
USA & Australia

Group c
Spain & any other team would qualify

Group of death is definitely C

Two best losers qualify to Quarter finals

We do not have tangible replacements for super eagles & super falcons centre backs
Ohale seems irreplaceable & may not play for Nigeria beyond 2027
What are they doing to find good replacements in case she’s not available
She’s probably the only player that is indispensable at this point
The woman of the match awards at the World Cup for both Ohale & Nnadozie were well deserved.
For goalkeeping, Tochi isn’t a bad reserve in case we need a replacement but I don’t see anyone filling the shoes of Ohale
When last did the Falcons play without her
We are spoilt for choice in the offensive positions

Accurate
She might start second leg
Glad Abiodun isn’t injured

Most likely,

I don't know if it's the same situation they're talking of, but Nnadozie did something that would have gotten her a yellow or even sent off.

In one incident she missed the ball and hit Seoponsenwe, sending her crashing down. The referee did not see it.
Glad the ref didn’t see that
Phew

Falcons need to win by 2 goals to nil today.
One more goal hopefully
Can’t even watch the game
How will teams do proper analysis for the second leg
This is poor on the path of NFF.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇳🇬 A spot in the Quarter-finals was on the line between England & Nigeria... The English Side Luckily took it on Penalty Shootout..

Hope the SuperFalcons Step up when it matters most against SA🇿🇦

Nigeria didn’t take their chances, the forwards should be ruthless next time
Possession means nothing, results do
Woulda, coulda, shoudda
South Africa really played well against super eagles from minute 70 but guess what our players were solid in the shootout
England were better
They took really decent penalties
Hopefully falcons win the next set of penalties they take.

CAF is the only federation still playing qualifiers so it's a CAF problem. Some used their continental tourney, Europe used nations league finalists, a few others followed same format as CAF but ended earlier.
CAF already used the Afcon 2022 for last years World Cup ticket

South africa have players based at home. Our players have to board flights to get here and we both know that anything can happen when it comes to that. I don't think this is a situation that the NFF is at fault. If anything I blame FIFA for
not arranging this break fairly. This gives a clear advantage to countries that use homebased players.

That said, if Waldrum gets things right we win EASILY
Not NFF’s fault ?
Not players fault ?
Easily ? Current African champions, they also got to round 16 in the last World Cup

Imagine it was super eagles and a World Cup qualifier against South Africa.
Frank Onyeka, Bassey, Ndidi, Ekong, osimhen are missing 48 hours to the game
grin
We are not serious
The South Africans are better at coordinating and organisation
Only thing we can bank on now is raw talent, prayer, rush hour experience, luck & heart. Who wants it more and can take the initiative on the field
The schedule was out a month ago
Just EXCUSES if you ask me

This means the South Africans are ready for the game today
I hope we can fine tune things before kick off time
Maybe they’ve already got the tactics & plan sorted out in a group chat
Early to camp may not really matter though
That’s how Morocco team that went to Ivory Coast got to camp early before Victor Osimhen
Before the New Year and still got knocked out in the quarter finals by South Africa

If the rumoured Ashleigh injury is false, our press men in Nigeria should cover their face in shame. The reason why I still find it hard to believe the story even with the Pulse source is cause Ashleigh played the last game week for her team. Things will get clearer before the end of the day.
