Someone said he overheard Wike boys jubilating that they suspended Rivers allocation, which is not true. The person was reacting to my insinuations that the delay in salary may be because Sim want to implement some of those FG salary increment directives such as, min. wage etc. But I later heard from another Wike camp member that the jubilation was for the suspension of payment of LGA allocation to caretaker chairmen.

Nothing to fear. Our salary will start entering from today

The Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, has approved the payment of N70,000 minimum wage to civil servants under the employ of the state.

Nwifu[/b]ru announced this on Saturday at the grand finale of the Ojiji Izhi New Yam Festival.

[b]“I have directed relevant government authorities to draft out modalities for the payment of the new minimum wage commencing in September,” he said.

The governor, however, frowned at the lackadaisical manner by which government projects awarded as contracts to prominent leaders of the state were handled, especially the housing estates at Izo autonomous community in the Ishielu Local Government Area.

He gave a marching order to the Commissioner for Housing to ensure the painting of the houses immediately.

He further called on residents of the state not to hesitate to report government projects being delayed by contractors.

Emm actually my own don finish...as I pay my daughter school fees, bought books for her for the new session ..buy small food stuff for house ,pay tithe ...tank empty..I am running on fumes..to think that today is just 3rd ..this month is going to be a long one..very long one like some January...but I can't say anything ..e didn't dey ,e didn't dey ..there is nothing we can do about it .... I have just one child o...what of pple that have 3 children...with younger ones and aged parents to take care of?? ,if they complain ,it's not just out of habit....it's difficult bro

Governor SIM is waiting for FG. If FG template will wait for 5 thousand years to come out. Our dear SIM will wait for the same 5 thousand years or more.
I keep saying that all politicians are the same. Don't be surprised the new minimum wage would be paid by January 2025 by governor SIM.
