No. .sisx files are signed Symbian installation files for Symbianb OS version 9 and later. The N72 is using Symbian version 8.1a and will not be able to use .sisx files. it accepts only Symbian ver 8.1 and java application.[s]_{( but if you upgrade to the latest firmwork not sure)}[/s]

ok  you can't install .sis on the nokia N80 but it allows the .sisx
i believe your trying to install the worng symbain version. Try a version 9.1 from www.gsm0.com i once had those problem with my nokia n73 which is also a ver 9.1 phone. As i stated earlier, .sisx files are signed Symbian installation files for Symbian OS version 9 that why it accepted to install it. But rejected the .sis because it not on it ver 9.1 plat form

S'up. Your N80 is an OS9 Symbian Smartfone. It's not backward compatible with OS8.1 applications and below. OS8.1 fones such as the N70 have almost perfect backward compatibility with all series60 applications from OS8.1 and below; hence they'll work with just about any .sis file. Your fone prefers the .sisx file types.

Nah, since it also a ver9.1, i find no reason why it won't install the same application with Nokia N73 (also on v9.1)

I didn't get you before but know i do, You most have been trying to install the same application that worked for your N72 (which is 8.1) go to www.gsm0.com , there are lot of application for a Symbian ver9.1 phone there

unlocking ur iPHONE and installing a simbian emulator doesn't make the blutoot work with anything other than an headset, it doesn't make it pick radio stations and surf the web with wifi.

Besides installing a simbian emulator on an apple phone just shows that you are still looking over the fence at the party going on 'in our NOKIA CAMP'

Try running the phone without the memory card, if it still freezes, then its a phone thingy, Hard format the phone, i'll tell u how to do that soon. if the phone no longer freezes as it does, then u'll have to format that memory card.

how to hard format (careful when u do this o, my friend wan twist him hand wen he tried it)
turn off phone, Hold the following keys:
* + 3 + green button and then press the power button to turn it on while u're holding down those three keys.

Make sure u have copied your contacts to sim directory, cUz u'll lose ur phone contacts,
make sure u do this when ur battery is full.
just make sure u remove anything useful on the phone sha before u try this.

For the record, your N91 uses a micro hard drive while your N81 has flash based memory. This simply means that the N81 will always be faster in accessing files and is immune to the disk latency issues of the N91. You should also be careful because hard drives by their nature do not like constant vibrations -kills the drive heads, bad causes bad sectors and basically wrecks the platters. If your N91 is that slow, you may have disk issues. For your mobile office apps, (Excel, etc) do a search at www.dotsis.com it has all you need.

Naija peepz, una go kill person. 3G=3.5G=3Gplus so you already have 3G there.

3.5G I believe has got High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) and it allows networks based on Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) to have higher data transfer speeds and capacity.
