I can't express how I feel right now... after to twisting my hair yesterday with Shea butter, coconut oil and Honey i kept it till this morning and I twist out, so when I was styling the hair this morning.... girls in my hostel was just looking at me like craze, not until some of them start telling me DAT my hair is Not fine. . I was just ashamed all through till i left them with dia negative opinion. .. pls I need advice and encouragement from you guys ohhh. tanks

Girl they were saying your hair is not fine right? That's bullshit, absolutely ridiculous and full of self hate and low self esteem! You know why? It's because it's not 'your' hair, it's OUR hair. The African texture hair which you should be carrying with PRIDE! Don't you dare let all those silly comments get to you. You are REAL, ORIGINAL and they are fake! You know where you are going to, your hair is going to grow beautifully. A butterfly was once a catapillar right? They will be the 1 who will be jealous of your hair, girl! Now just google hairstyles for short natural hair, so you'll get some ideas. Buy bands with flowers to 'decorate' you hair and next time raise your head up high, don't be ashamed. Honestly why should the original 1 be ashamed of the fake 1?
