Oh this is baddd!! cheesy cheesy

my hair is just too soft for braids.
as i put them in, they literally slide out. undecided

lol so i think plan c is in order...braid my natural hair
as i wait for it to get to my desired length. I think the above
style (or something like it) would be nice. smiley

You probably need an expert hair 'braider'

Or do what I do, wash it(when dry, brush it out and it will become afro-ey), don't put any products in it then braid it and you can then put hair cream in it.

Have you cut all the permed or chemical bits off?

MsDarkSkin: As you all know I am starting my natural hair journey (it's been a month since I last had a perm cheesy) and already seeing my natural new growth.

So I am creating this thread to celebrate the uniqueness and beauty of e1b1a type African hair. It's one of a kind, versatile and the strongest of the bunch. kiss I can't wait to get back to the old me. kiss kiss

Hopefully this thread will inspire some more ladies to keep it real! Keep it kinky! Keep it natural! cheesy

Feel free to post your own favorite dos and/or videos.

Subscribing------starting on my own journey soon. Growing my sweet natural hair again in readiness for some precious African golden lock. At last I am going to do what I have always longed for.

grin

it depends on your hair type to be honest and even then, it's really about what you put in your hair AFTER conditioning it that matters. you need oils to "seal in" the conditioners.

im about to get started on my hair and when done, i promise i'll get back to you with a detailed response. kiss

Lol, I think that's the problem. Once you cut off the perm your hair will have enough grip to braid. smiley

SniperInADiaper:

Thanks!

check this out. i answered a similar question as the one you asked
a while ago. i had to search for it on my other account lol but here goes:

https://www.nairaland.com/858097/how-soften-natural-hair-stop#13172396

again it's all about what you do to your hair and not so much the brand.
sometimes i fail to take my own advice but considering where i get the tips from
(women with healthy natural hair) I think it's safe to say it's on point.

i hope that answers your question. if not let me know. smiley
