Please I need help on my VW Jetta 2001 Model gearbox. After travelling with it and discovered some unusual noise towards the end of the journey and called a VW mechanic to check it; I was told the transmission oil is completely drained and it has affected the 'fibres' in the gearbox. Kindly advise on what I can do in case you've had a similar experience. |

Take it to a gear specialist and change the fibre. Remember to use the correct oil. |
