Man:
Oligospermia i.e. a low sperm count. Though morphology is okay, increase in sperm count will appreciate the "fast progressives'.
The scanty staphylococcus spp shouldn't be the major management for this as it may not actually be the cause to the fall in normal count criterion as it is now. However, if you choose to proper use of drug and time duration should be adhere to.
What should he do next?

Female:
Candida albican is a normal vaginal housing living element. You may not seek treatment in the absence of any clinical complaint or symptoms as it may not lead to any serious clinical consequences. Presenting with symptoms own to it, you are advised to use antifungals sensitive to it. Treating the Staphylococcus spp is also not of any primary importance since it is scanty and obviously normal in some individuals. But if you choose to, treatment should be base on sensitivity and time followed.

Bankyshinani:

Male:

The need to keep a great spirit and healthy lifestyle should be a constant practice. This need to maintain an average healthy lifestyle should follow with loss in weight(in case of obesity) or gain in weight (for any case of anorexia). The use of alcohol and hard use of drugs should not be overlooked.

A stress-free life is welcome. Problems with regards to attention to the family, job and socials should be attended to or rather seek help from close associates just to relieve the burden on him. Depression is an evil spirit that eats the good of everything in itself. See that this should be avoided and factors leading to it should be sought out and dealt with it.

Fruit eating can help improve sperm count. Fruit like watermelon, banana, soursop, apple, and many others. Diet rich in red meat, fish, pork and liver can improve sperm counts. The use of fish oil is also okay.
Vitamins such as E, B6,folic acid and C with mineral elements such as Zinc, magnesium, copper and selenium can improve sperm counts.
So, he can use prenatal products covering vitamins and mineral elements obviously containing no female reproductive hormone content.
Other product worth trying are Black seeds, chestnut and panax ginseng.

If this was the first SFA another should be done elsewhere to confirm the former. The need to do a hormone test may be necessary if after doing all these within 6months and no improvement.

Follow up with the first two paragraphs of the mention above.
You may have to do:
1. Ultrasound of the pelvis
2. Hormone profiling (gonadal stimulating/ovarian/thyroid).
3. Follow up with a folliculometry(2-4 cycle programmed)

N.B..... The male and female may need to see a doctor for further briefing.

Doctor please I had an unusual light period in April and since then have not been feeling like myself. I experienced bloating, shortness of breath, palpitations and painful cramping in my lower abdomen and lower back. I was sent for abdominopelvic scan and the result say no cyesis seen or product of conception. But I've noticed since then my breasts are bigger altho they don't hurt. And so is my abdomen. The bloating isn't going away. I suspected pregnancy but I've done 3 urine strip and 3 blood test all negative. The scan also showed fluid in Pod and I was put on antibiotics since last week Wed, but I'm not feeling much better. Through all this, no physical exam was done and I fear I might be pregnant. Am I just being paranoid? Please help if you can. Thanks

Thank you for responding. It was on April 12. The 1st day was just spotting but by the 2nd day I filled about 3 pads. 3rd day was light bleeding and 4th and 5th day was spotting.

I called it a light period because usually from day 1 to 3, I would have used almost 2 packs of always.

I still get quite bloated and gassy. My abdomen is distended. I still can't draw a full deep breath, it seems one of my nostrils is always blocked. The palpitations are still experienced but I didn't get pain in my lower abdomen and lower back today. I had slightly sore breasts today tho and I'm expecting my period to start today. So far, it hasn't started yet.

I am encouraged to tell you that you will recuperate soon. I am also of the expectation that you may experience normal monthly bleeding not as you might have been expecting. This is to encourage you to relax and fix your mind in getting better.
Should this bloating and flatus removing consist over some period of time, kindly call for help. That should not be any problem. But for the now relax and enjoy the best of life while you wait to carry pregnancy with time.

I have taken some herbs, not working, yet to try any tablets.

If all you have done was to take herbs then you haven't started anything. I prefer you see a doctor first before any input from me.

Hello doctor,. for three months now i have been experiencing scanty period. on the first and second day i bleed half a pad which is very unusual as i bleed heavily using more than two pads for the first three day, now i dnt bleed at all on the third day. i went for a pelvic and abdominal scan on day nine of my menstrual cirlcle, resuld showed i av minute fluid in my POD, suggestive of of PID. i felt d result was okay and went ahead to do a culture and urine test on my own. it showed i have a heavy growth of staphylococcus aerues, gps+++, pus cells++. i am currently treating with augumentin 1g and gentamycin. can staphylococcus be the cause, can this treatment i am on cure it. i jus got married and i am nervous if i am going to b fine

It could be or may not. But I am certain if it is not then it is probably hormonal. Treating yourself of those heavy growth is all about writing off infection to look where else could be standing up against all odds.

It is therefore necessary to have your reproductive hormone distribution profiled to check for imbalances with estrogen and progesterone. Attend to your stress, keep proper body nutrition and weight. These may improve your bleeding as well.

Regarding sensitivity, I advise you stay on drugs that were highly marked sensitive after diagnosis. If those you have at your disposal carried those features, then you are good to go.

Is this helpful?

We have been dating for more than 2 year, but in 2018 she went for a scan and found out that she has fibroid and hormonal imbalance and that it could hinder pregnancy. doctors said the fibroid is like 12 weeks old pregnancy. we did hsg and hormonal profiling which the doctors said she's also having hormonal imbalance. Doctors advice that she go for surgery in order for her not to have complications with pregnancy. I gave her more than half the cost of the surgery since she's working and can afford the other half which she agreed to go for. Same day she said she's not going for the surgery again until she gets married. She started taking herbal medicine that it will reduce the size of the fibroid and that way she will be able to get pregnant even without surgery and she also took drugs for the hormonal imbalance. after some months the size of her stomach reduced cos initially it was bigger than normal. though the stomach have reduced a little but she's still having heavy and extended menstrual flow which could last for seven to eight days and it's been like that for more than 4years. thought her menstrual cycle is regular. we're thinking of getting married but I'm reluctant cos of her medical condition knowing she didn't go for the surgery and not sure if she's going to find it difficult getting pregnant after marriage. I've done my semen analysis and the result came out fine. will her medical condition affect the chances of her getting pregnant after marriage? are we going to have delays in getting pregnant? what's the implications of her not going for surgery? Doctors in the house i need advice please

discovered am 4 weeks pregnant on tuesday at the doc 's via a blood test. However, I am also being treated for malaria with Quinn, I have being asked to use 2 300mg 3 times a week. I will like to know if it can cause a miscarriage or any negative effect on the embryo.

A 200-300mg is okay provided it is taken as directed with no other drug in for interaction.
What were your symptoms that had him prescribed Quinine instead of others?
Was it anywhere severe?
