@ millionjoy, we great ICT officer are realy happy 4 u and we shout two million HALLELUYAH to God. For us that are waiting for God to anounce us to the world, pls dont give up our victory is certain without any negotiation. Those dat we wrote ict exams together and were not shortlisted for screening hav change there focus somewhere else but here we are waiting for goodnews from PSC. I realy thank God for us because out of millions God single us out to bless us. Dont worry sooner or later, God will celebrate us. Truth, we just seeking some sort of solace, consolation or better put, emotional support. We have nobody on top, those who have aren't on this forum, they are just smiling and are already assured of outcome. We and I especially love my country so much and feel concerned when I see the way things are done here. But our country doesn't love us back, a case of unrequited love. It only loves those in power or who have people in power. We aint got no option but to support each other emotionally, like someone who has just been ditched by the love of this life! When are we going to start asking some pertinent questions? When will we start holding our leaders accountable? When will we start to force change and not just hope? Change does not come by hoping and praying but by actions. I WEEP, my brothers and sisters. I weep because the love of my life, my dear country has broken my heart. I weep because my dear country has denied me. Many of the things we pray for in Nigeria are things that should be fundamental in any sane society. I have finished my first degree, concluded my second and currently enrolled for higher degree. It isn't because of love for knowledge, knowledge is good I know, but so that time doesn't pass me by. So that I don't remain stagnant while waiting for the much anticipated dream job, something that should have come naturally because I have paid my dues, I have studied, I have burned candles! am hapi we ar getting it, we believe in deciet dan bitter facts, d list would hav bn out 2wks afta screening but because of some unscrupulous element in d comision made it late, only a few & ICT prof are needed & if we ar not favoured they might manufactured a names diff from our names. only God can save us. |

Honestly I'm touched by this out pour of our grievances if I m permitted to put it dat way. We have done our part by working so hard to come out best in our various field and is a pity the knowledge we hv work hard to acquire is nt bein acknowledge or rather put to use by our dear counry simply because many of us don't hv d so called 'connection'. Most tyms I wonda if this country wud ever get to d promise land cos everyday tinz kip gettin worst...those in power n government r nt willin to let go even as it is obvious dat dere tym has expired n is tym for us(the youth) to contribute our quota. Personally I blive the future of dis country depend strongly on us because I hv interacted wit most of my pair gruop n I hv discovered dat majority of us hv d interest of dis great country at hrt n if given d opportunity dere is bound to b changes. So I wnt to use dis opportunity to call on everyone us to pls neva forget dis wondafull experience we all wnt tru while waitin for our names to b shortlisted...I kno n I'm sure mst of us wud mak d list so pls my fellow officers money is ntin compared to intergrity, let's us try by all means to show each other love cos I blive dat is d beginin of our journey to greater npf. Shun corruption by all means n let us b d ones dat will show to d word hw wondaful and helpful npf cn b in d fight of crime, let us all hv d same mind set n gaols toward our expected job. My Great Officers, Let all of us have one voice in this house. A REAL LIFE SITUATION . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . A very salient TRUTH that caught up with me was the very first day that my email for application was delivered. I approached my Director in the Office about my intention to join the FORCE. So, she immediate called someone another 'Director' not really sure about the post but I know the person is top ranked in PSC. This person then told my boss that I will pay certain amount to get any assistance and the job. While they were talking on the phone I heard my boss saying that is just too much (amount) so my boss hung off and faced me, called my full name pitifully with passion because I could feel it in her voice saying and praying for me. She said "the amount is just to much but I pray that God shall favour you in this recruitment" and my amen echoed . . . . . that was some few days after 21st July 2012. So, I approached one ACP in my area . . . and he said to me "young man dont be deceived, series of meetings have been held for this so called ICT Recruitment and the stakeholders have all agreed that it shall be as fair as possible. so my boy pray that if PSC needs only one person in your state, try your utmost best to be the one because they want to use us to perform an experiment that their hypotheses are already stated. So, what they want is your brain and good health body system. he then pray for me too. This is my personal story . . . Then, I intimated my Big Uncle who is highly connected with Police Bosses . . . he immediately called one of these top men of class in the force. Infact, I was told that this is a special project and research of one AIG that will possibly earn him a Multinational Accomplishment if successful. So, he told my Father (Big Uncle) to warn me to score a very high mark that there will be nothing like man - know - man slots. that this is not a general recruitment exercise . . . I sighed. My Unc then faced me and said that God shall surely help me but just try all your best . . . ok. I then concluded that getting this Job depends on God's Favour, Your Expertise, Your Health and the perfect will of God . . . @MY GREAT OFFICERS . . . I am not saying these to you for me to curry your Pity or Favour. I shall be rounding off a 21 - day spiritual exercise that I have serious engaged myself in this Sunday 27th. So, it is not by power nor by might . . . . . . but by the Spirit of God. this Job is one of the issues I presented b4 My God. GOD can not be MOCKED . . . Those who mocked the move of GOD shall definately end up in MOCKERY . . . MY GREAT OFFICERS . . . PLEASE AND PLEASE AND PLEASE . . . Hmm list would be out 31st January 2013, Chairman PSC, 2 resume office 28th, selection/shortlisting commitee 2 meet on 29th, Chairman PSC 2 Meet with d recruitment commitee on 30th 2 delibrate on d list, if approved, d list would be published on 31st.
