In an unrelated development, where is Chino? Chino is the Honourable Minister for Anambra State on Nairaland. We await your official report on this calamitous situation, Chino.

When people laugh at one side of the country that it is underdeveloped and make fun of states where casualties happen, I SMH.
What should we call this?
If this is the development and better life they are talking about, then I'll say Nigeria is a big hell hole.
It's a pity.
Or is this not the Anambra some people here boast of? This is pathetic, these people are really suffering.
Even see those kids angry

I SMH at your silly posts. Flooding in Nigeria is not something suffered by Anambrans alone. 14 states of the federation are currently suffering in course of this.

OMG!!!........so, does it now mean that all those natural disasters that occur in Europe and American continent have now located themselves to Naija.
I hope not ooohhh.......because we can't even manage man-made disasters.......not to talk of natural disasters.

If certain Nigerians could publicly display sense of exhilaration on the hardship that had befallen fellow Nigerians as a result of natural disaster, I honestly maintain that Nigeria should cease to exist as presently configured. What bunch of jerks.

Will you shut your mouth?

When any shit takes place in Lagos, they'll say it's not the east.
When it's in the East, they'll reply it's not my state.
Now it's their state, the response is now it's ain't my village

I guess when it's your village, the next thing we should expect is it's not my compound.
Next is it's not my room.
Funny yeye people

Some parts of Anambra state are ecological nightmare. The vast low-lands prone to flooding, and landslides + indiscriminate buildings are all recipes for disasters of this nature. I hope that the state government takes the situation serious. Moreover, federal help is urgently needed in the state. Some houses are gradually being swallowed by 'mbuze' in some parts of the state. People there should imbibe the culture of planting trees that can hold the soil together. Such preventive measures were taking around some areas at Milken Hill Enugu during mid 80s.
