Congratulations to you sir, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCON, President and commander in Chief of the armed forces of Nigeria!

You said you will do and you did it yet again. Nigeria Elections 2011. Bayelsa elections 2012. Edo elections 2012. Ondo elections 2012. They said you are deceiving the people and you are a liar. If this is how to lie, then I don't want to tell the truth!

You said they were rascals and they said you were insulting them. Well they have just confirmed what you said from their own words and actions. Hmmm!

You are putting overtime to get their sorry arsess out of the doldrums of shame but they have instead vowed to make the country ungovernable for you. Well like you said, we don't give a damn! They can go hug the nearest transformer because whether they like it or YES, Nigeria will be great again!

They said they are trying to have regional integration. Well the problem is we don't know what they really want to integrate and where they want to integrate it into. Smells like the former is money/eguje/pepper and the later is their pockets! Ondo would have completed the jigsaw but the Ondo people have vowed not to worship man made gods! Especially the ones who wear coke bottle glasses!

They said they will sweep us away with stale brooms and we laughed because we know only winshes use brooms but we serve a living God! They forgot the adage, never bring a stick to a gun fight.
If you must pull down an iroko, bring a tractor, not a broom stick, especially stale, used, toilet broom sticks.

We know we have differences in opinion but we will not be deceived by those who want to take advantage of the status quo to enrich themselves and build empires on a sandy beach!

Nigeria will be great again and we will continue to build and follow your dream you have showed us. Indeed you are not perfect, but you have shown in a humble, calculated and profound way, that no matter what the challenges are, if we desire to get there, not even a nationwide flood will stop us!

God bless Ondo State!
God Bless Nigeria!!!

The authorities have been able to conduct free and fair elections whenever its a soecial election wherein only one state at a time is involved. They do this by displaying a very heavy millitary/police presence.

I don't believe they can replicate this winning solution in a nation-wide election situation. Current kudos are out of order.

Ah well, since the bar is set so dangerously low, what gives if there are lessons to learnt from the reported incidences of irregularity...

Well, we know our electoral system is still far from perfect but credit must be given to GEJ for his genuine commitment to electoral reforms. In 2011, despite his candidacy, President Jonathan demonstrated a deep sense of fairness and neutrality in appointing Prof. Jega as INEC boss and the elections were widely hailed as reasonably transparent, credible by local and foreign observers. Subsequent elections in Edo,Anambra, Kogi and now Ondo have received wide acclaim for being credible, free, fair and reflective of the choices of the electorate. Clearly, GEJ's commitment to transforming our electoral system is genuine and worthy of commendation. At this rate, Nigerians can be assured that the 2015 general elections will contested and conducted in an even more transparent, credible, free and fair atmosphere. GEJ is silently and steadily transforming Nigeria and it can only get better.

So they do not deserve kudos because it is one state? What kind of logic is that? Abeg have some class and acknowledge good thing. Don't be a saddist or ungrateful. If the election was a failure, you will not have hesitated to draw out your long sword to tear GEJ in pieces. You sound like Arsene wenger anytime his team is overrun by any of the big four! Eat your humble pie joor!

I salute him for that.

Some persons are QUICK to condemn but RELUCTANT to commend. Jonathan has done something that has NEVER been done in the history of this country- presiding over series of TRANSPARENT and FAIR elections, even to the detriment of his own party. This for me is a LEGENDARY achievement. Elections in Nigeria have been perpetually and SHAMELESSLY rigged right from the 1959 elections. The LEGENDARY and under-rated Jonathan has broken the JINX. Unfortunately, those who are QUICK to condemn pretend as if they are DEAF, BLIND and DUMB to the progress in our electoral system.

Where is DEMDEM? Where is GBAWE? Where is miss KOBOJUNKIE and all other defeated A.C.N supporters. Its a shame that after all the noise and hype, A.C.N came a distant third.
After wasting Lagos taxpayers money, Aketi shamelessly came third behind PDP.
It is regrettable that after the godfather came to ONDO, the people vehemently voted against A.C.N.
Its so disastrous that the poor showing by Aketi and A.C.N has rendered Salami helpless. Salami could have come to the rescue,if A.C.N had managed a second position. Too bad.
I love GEJ. He is too much. The president has ushered in a new era of fresh air into our political space. No more rigging. No army intimidation of voters. No more INEC manipulation. No more manipulation of the process. No more instructions to police to work for PDP. No more calls for REC to come to Abuja before declaration of results. No more need for tribunals. No more godfathers. Just FRESH AIR

Shut the fck up! Democracy nay free and fair election does not guarantee emergence of the right or best candidate. A clueless, wasteful leader in the mold of GEJ that thrives on propaganda can still emerge. The mere fact he won does not suggest he is the best leader that exigencies of the moment demand. Nevertheless, we wish him and the entire ondo electorate not goodluck, but best of luck.

Don't praise GEJ because dirty details of how Dickson emerged governor in GEJ's own state of Bayelsa are everywhere oozing out bad odors.

Rigging of elections is becoming a thing of the past , the current INEC has worked earnestly to ensure Free , fair and credible elections so far ;
some of the opposition parties now accept defeat after elections without complaining bitterly of elections being marred with violence , rigging and electoral malpractices.
I adulate GEJ for being steadfast in his promise to conduct free and fair elections.

GEJ, on the right platform to leading the Nation to greatness... His obviously tremendous achievement in the just concluded Ondo Election is indeed another sweet value to his ego. A successful election born out of passion to create a Change in the democratic atmosphere of Nigeria. A success, credited to the commitment of the President to ensuring the conduction of a free and fair election in Ondo. May your days be long Mr. President.
