This week is "Lagos Fashion and Design Week 2012", and thank Allah for the public holiday, you've got no other reason to miss Nigeria's foremost fashion event which brings together the media, the fashion industry, and fashionistas to awe at the current collections of designers in the fashion capital of Africa.

The array of designers this year includes Alter Ego, Bridget Awosika, Ituen Basi, Jewel by Lisa, Lanre Da Silva, Mai Atafo, Obsidian, Re Bahia, Republic of Foreigner, and countless others (I literally was unable to count them all).

The Lagos Fashion and Design Week kicks off with a press conference on Wednesday, October 24th at the Porsche Center, Victoria Island,
Lagos.

Lagos Fashion and Design Week (LFDW) 2012 is scheduled to take place from October 24th to October 27th 2012 at the Convention Centre, Le Meridien, Eko Hotel and Suites.

It promises to be a delightful event. Wont miss this year, even though my line wont be making the runway, it affords one the opportunity to grill shoulders with the prime front runners in the industry.

Fee is for designers looking to glide the runway with their apparels. Don't know if its 20k or more. I think its more!

I don't know about this N20,000 fee. I personally obtained a Press Pass for FREE. The exhibition and runway show however, will be open to the public from the 25th to the 27th of October at a fee.

LFDW runway shows will start at 4pm.
