dearie am not an expert buh I can tell u little I know from my experience. I had problem wif my thighs and arms , the arms is nt completely gone cos some of us are just built that way. For the arms u need more than diet, u need to register at a gymn, dey will work on ther arms, skipping works for the thighs too. From my diet,av moved from a size 14 trouser to a size 10. Dearie u need to work on diet and late nites for ur tommy and proper exercise too.

Hi everyone,
Trying to lose baby weight. Was weighing 68kg before I got pregnant, now am on 78kg. Want to lose 13kg and weigh 65kg.
Since am breast feeding exclusively, i still have to eat heathy.
Lucky for me I don't eat junks but most times I eat in big proportion.
My target date is ending of January cos i have to resume work?
Any advice, wud love to be part of this group.
Thank you

Thanks dearie, its just determination o. i dont want to be fat, i want to be very fit. each time i remember my old stature, i quickly adjust i always tell myself, its faster to add weight and slow to loose. i used to love cakes like anything, buh now i eat ot buh in small portion, very very small if necessary like when am hanging out wif friends. like on boxing day, i went out wif my friends , we ate jollof rice , salad chicken , took drinks and cake. buh i made sure i took plenty salad and small rice , i was so full i cudnt even eat at nite again. No matter what i dont want to be fat.
The tips is portion control and exercise, u eat well, dont miss ur breakfast, fibre, vegetable and water, and avoid late nights. one step at a time, u cant loose all at once, thats d mistake i made in d past, i wanted quick result i even bought body magic, i bought gr2 control, i bought tea and pills.

Please eat well for the sake of ur baby, eat very very well. lets take it gently, u no staying at home increases the temptation of eating and eating. now dt u are resuming, u will be occupied. lets wait till u finish breast feeding, den we can start the proper weight loss challenge. For now, u can reduce ur portion size, eat in bits, as in small at a time, take healthy snacks like cashew nuts, and take enough vegetables. buh pls dont be too strict for now cos of d baby.

i am so inspired by u guys stories. honestly the way at which i am adding up weight, i dont understand. i have made so may resolves to loss weight in this 2012, i start dieting, walking, skiping etc. then i stop and add more wieght. i have gone from 60kg to almost 120kg as at nov in less than 2yrs.

i seriously need to loose this weight. i just dont have the strenght to do it. i easily get tired. and am also ashamed to be seen juging.

anoda problem is my addiction to sweet drinks, in a day i drink alot, my minimum is 5 bottles of coke. if its not coke it chocolate.

is there any drink i can use to subsitute the coke? which isnt bita and which also doesnt have a lot of calories? cos i have tried stopping outrightly and it didnt work.

my mission 2013 is to be below 80kg before the year ends.

any tips for me?

that's nt a problem, uno once uv admitted that ur current lifestyle isn't healthy den uv started. Now av u noticed that whatever u eat whether so sweet or bitter, it doesn't pass d taste bud. Once u swallow, dt initial satisfactn is gone. Drinks donot help, too much of everything is nt good. U no stuffs like dat causes serious diseases. Replace ur drinks wif water, only water until u can fully resist it. Don't feel bad okay, I was weighing 50sumfin too sometime agao, den I climbed 70, why because I did so many things wrong. I fed on heavy starchy meals , late nite was a regular routine, I started panting for every little trek. My dear, u need to understand dat, u are nt just shedding weight because uv added, u are shedding weight because u want to stay healthy, and u want to a have a good lifestyle. No matter d exercise u do, if u don't have grip on ur food intake, u willnt move atall. So let's work on ur resistance level, u need to be able to stay without drinks everyday, u drink water, u take a lots of fruits, avoid starchy meals, no late night meals. U eat in small portions.once u can do all these, den we start ur proper weight loss scheme.

Oatmeals are healthy, you can also have all bran flakes but in moderation. My advise for snacks always though is fruits. They are healthy, and low in calories compared to our normal naija meatpie snacks and the likes

Happy new year dearie, thanks @trimandtrendy for the advise. bran flakes is ok wif moderation as trimandtrendy said. Buh u av to be careful cos if u take d bran flakes wif normal milk and not skimmed milk, u will definitely keep adding, moderation is the key. even too much of fuits is nt even too good especially apples. so i will advise fruits, cashew nuts.

. Welcome dearie, happy new yeat to u too. U can keep healthy snacks like cashew nuts close to u, so anytime u can't sleep, u can just take it. 20kg is a whole lot to loose, u need low carbs, low fat , calorie counting to start wif, and den portion control. SoRry r u a female? And where do u have d fat, is it d arm. Hips, or every where?
