please what is the different between a repair disc and recovery disc. thanks

The repair disc creation is from microsoft and you can find it in window 7.
It comes handy if your system becomes abnormal. So it performs functions like start up repair,system restore etc
It brings your pc back to life without you loosing your files.

On the other hand, system recovery dics was designed by your pc manufacturer. It is your last resort.
It returns the PC to the original condition when it was first bought but it doesn't keep your files.

you need both cos atimes your system might refuse to repair, hence, your recovery dics created will bring it back to life like a new PC.
