Songs of Solomon expresses love (not carnal love) that some of you perceive. Its lesson revolves around love of God for his bride! If you are born again, you are a bride of Christ.

2 million: in all my yrs as a christian i have heard sermons on songs of solomon from a handful of preachers. So my question's why don't preachers preach from the book ?

Feraz: Quite true that most pastors shy away from the book...given the present century we find ourselves in, one is likely to read another meaning into that book and start lusting after someone even in the church; pastors are not left out since they're human.... the summary of the book is based on the kind of love God ha(d)s for his church (you may choose to disagree).....that is what the writer was trying to depict.....great book and poems therein I must say....
