Hello,

This topic has been on my mind for some days now; I would like to know how you got to know about nairaland.

Was it through google search, a friend, family, colleague, mass media(prints, radio, tv) or from other sites?

For me, I got to know about nairaland when an article on job search and placements were published on The Punch newspaper.

I was a guest initially and I enjoyed reading people's comment and expanding my knowledge base from what I read here.

Nairaland has been an eye opener for me and I often get informed about things before the media report it.

So, how did you discover Nairaland?

Yeah, Blackberry Babes. When the "I gats to belong" babe played by Mary Remy-Njoku thought she knew all the sites in the world only for Oge Okoye to shut her up by mentioning Nairaland, Twitter, Myspace etc.

When I was writing my first year Oracle exams I was having a research done so I typed some so I used the e-libary in the institution. I had gottem the info I needed but then I used to do some random searchs with google so I typed for a gathering of Nigerians on the internet and viola.
