i have a friend at illupeju who is into barbecue chicken. The man is married with kids, all his 4kids are in private school, he opened a big supermart for his wife, he has built 2 houses. He has a car, and all this one through barbecue.. He barbecues his chicken so well, that u cant help but buy most times.. Our youth these days are so lazy upstairs, to think of something creative is a huge task.. i simply shake my head... there is no easy way to sucess o... there is always a price to pay, either being successfully through Gods way or the devils way... no easy way out, at all.

Am a Civil Engineering student HND 1 precisely, but i so much have passion for crop production and by God's grace am going to invest in that after school aside my Engineering proffesion. I think this is the right time Nigerian youth should put their destiny into their hand and stop looking for overcrowded white collar job that is not available. AM GOING BACK TO FARM.

I 'm not surprise to this man's acheivement. it is normal if u hav capital and farmland wit d aide of new agrochemical technology. the only thing is government is not ready surppot youth because if want to apply for loan you must have worthy collatera unlike countries like Mxico. Currently i have 5 actres of cassava i want to save money to buy Tractor and some other machineries.

You are even lucky you already have a land, is it every fresh graduate that has land to farm?
Apart from all the propaganda, Wat readily accessible support is govt offering to youths that wish to farm

You can rent land easily from Government settlements and also from individuals. The rental is also cheaper than a BB phone. No excuses

Cows and goats are enemies of farming. They can clear all that you have invested in the farming bussiness.

ytdivine: Cows and goats are enemies of farming. They can clear all that you have invested in the farming bussiness.

You're very correct. A smart farmer assesses all threats before investing. These are:

Theft
Flooding
Drought
Diseases
Pests
Glut
