Does it mean no body knows the english name of this fruit with proof.

What happened now is that I will name it by my self just like the way our father Adam did then.

CHERRY?!Huh! I have never seen such cherry before in my life. I just checked the botanical name(chrysophyllum albidum) up and it is like a tropical fruit of Nigerian origin. Wow!

Yeah Omumu is brown in colour and it's very sweet. we use to have both close to our former compound and as children then we use to wake up early in the morning to pick up the ones that fell of the tree at night. Lovely memories.

THe closest name is african star apple, you have to include the african because, the star apple is another fruit. It is highly tropicalised and so doesn't really have it;s own english name but it is refered to as the african star apple.

Otien is what most people in Edo call it, not Ishan/Esan and the word is not originally an esan word, let's just leave it as an Edo name and not try to cause division by tribalizing it because if you do, you'd discover that it's a bini name for it.

Hello they are not silly but part of experience .Remember some times in African the seed and botlle cover are used for calculation.
booqee: Agbalumo in yoruba. I think d nigerianised-english name for it is cherry. Chai back in those days, the skin was a very good source of chewing gum, grin while we(girls) also cracked d seed and used dat white stuff inside d seed as earrings.
