"O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? Now sin is the sting of death, and sin exercises its power [upon the soul] through [the abuse of] the Law. But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Cor.15:55-57 ampc)

Come and Surrender your life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ Crucified :

"Jesus answered and said unto him, “Verily, verily I say unto thee, unless a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
4 Nicodemus said unto Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”
5 Jesus answered, “Verily, verily I say unto thee, unless a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." (John 3:3-6 )

Are you born-again in Christ Jesus Crucified ?

What does it mean to be born-again in Christ Jesus Crucified ?

1. Hear and understand the gospel of Jesus Christ Crucified, Resurrected and Glorified.

2. Become convicted as a sinner because you inherited sin's nature(the flesh) from Adam and your own personal sins by the Holy Spirit through the gospel that you heard.

3. Repentance from sin's nature and sinful lifestyle.

4. Believe in Jesus Christ death and resurrection as your own remission/atonement for sin's nature and sinful lifestyle.

5. Decide to live only in obedience to Jesus Christ teachings by praying for the release of God's mercy and grace from His throne of Grace each day and moments of your life even as you engage in personal daily bible studies and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

6. Submit to water baptism by immersion(In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; Matthew 28:18-20, Romans 6:3-4) if you have not been baptized according as Jesus was baptized before now as an outward sign of the new creation life that you have received in Christ.

ARE YOU READY TO RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST CRUCIFIED NOW ?

Repent from your sin inside your heart now, accept that you are a sinner in the eyes of God, ask JESUS CHRIST to wash you with His Precious Blood shed on the Cross of Calvary and ask Him to receive you into His kingdom and fill you with His Holy Spirit through the name of Jesus. This can be done by saying this prayer and declarative words of salvation
thus
"Father, I come to you now recognizing that I am a sinner, I ask you to save my soul by the effects of Jesus death on the Cross and His resurrection, receive me as your SON and fill me with your Holy Spirit Power to sustain me till the end in your holiness in Jesus name. Amen".

Then you can join any fellowship that *preaches CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED ALONE* close to your neighborhood so that you will ask them to baptize you with water and join them to grow your NEW LIFE/FAITH in JESUS CHRIST CRUCIFIED daily through daily personal bible studies and quiet-time with the Holy Spirit.

On your own, you can get a holy bible then start reading it so that you will have more revelational knowledge about JESUS CHRIST CRUCIFIED who is now YOUR NEW LIFE especially from the New testament, you can start from the Gospel according to St. Matthew, few verses each day like Matthew 1:1-17 for the first day, 2nd day Matthew 1:18-25; OR John 1:1-5, John 1:6-10, John 1:11-18 e.t.c.

Each time before you open the holy bible to study; ask the Holy Spirit to reveal JESUS CHRIST CRUCIFIED FRESH INTO YOUR HEART thus
"Father, fill me with your Holy Spirit baptism of Power and Fire *new/fresh* and mix your written word with faith in my heart even as I study each word and sentence now and any other time I remember it in my heart in Jesus name. Amen".
If you have more questions then you can inbox me or ask any Christian around your neighborhood.

Efficacy of the Gospel in this generation:
1 Corinthians 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."

The power/grace/love/mercy/faith/salvation released by GOD through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary is what makes the gospel effective/consistent upon any human being who hears the gospel

If there is no encounter with this power from the cross of Christ Jesus upon any human being after hearing, reading or listening to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the flesh/sin/unbelief cannot be destroyed and replaced with the FULL-LIFE of Jesus Christ (Salvation/Eternal-life) no matter how many Christian activities you are subjected to, no matter the religious titles attributed to you, no matter how many sacramentals or sacraments you engage, no matter how many confessional utterances you make, no matter how many times you have read through the holy bible, no matter your exegetical prowess, no matter how long you have been going to Church, no matter your knowledge of Church history/doctrines/traditions e.t.c.

It is this power that cast away the prince of this world from our lives, lifts us to the crucified flesh of Jesus Christ on the Cross, merges our flesh with his own flesh and puts to death our flesh(our spirit-man/personality not our skin), replaces our old flesh with the resurrected-flesh/being of Christ, then makes us the center of attraction to lead all men to consistent obedience and Holiness through faith in Christ Jesus here in this sinful world thus "John 12:23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit." Then going further Jesus declared "John 12:31 Now(at the point of His death on the cross) is the judgment of this world(flesh/sin/devils-dominance-over-human-souls/unbelief 'effects' upon each human being in this world's is dealt with): now shall the prince of this world be cast out(the stronghold/power of sin/flesh/unbelief is destroyed and replaced by the prince of peace). 12:32 And "I", if I be lifted up from the earth(His death on the cross and the power released at that point affects each human being in the whole world at this experience/encounter), will draw all men unto me(will turn each human being who believes in HIM in this world from fleshly fruits to Spiritual fruits that is consistent till eternity). 12:33 This he said, signifying what death he should die."

Thus Paul confirmed the regrets and ignorance of Satan for allowing this power of God released through the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ His only beloved Son become a reality upon mankind "1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, *they would not have crucified the Lord of glory*."

Since the devil cannot undo the reality of the power of the Cross of Jesus Christ upon mankind then he has devised a means of making sure that the gospel we hear in this generation is without the teaching/revelation/knowledge/Grace/Power of the Cross of Christ Jesus. This is why the Christianity of our generation seems to have the highest number of human being amongst all other religion in the universe currently with the population of human beings visible in different physical structural church auditoriums yet we have geometric increase in sin/evil/wickedness/injustice/unbelief within the same Christian-fold and in the secular world while the early church after Pentecost carried a lifestyle (Gospel) that overturned human beings in various cities/nations/continents towards the kingdom of Jesus Christ Crucified.

It is this same power of the Cross of Jesus Christ that cancelled 'all' the bad/unfavorable records of our past that stands against us with which the accuser of the brethren accuses us day and night before God(Colossians 2:14-15, Revelation 12:10)

It is this same power that removed the sting of sin(attractions to sins) in our lives permanently(John 8:36; Hebrews 7:23-26) and replaced it with the flesh of Jesus Christ which alone both wills and does his good pleasures through us (Phil.2:12-13) in the Holy Spirit both in trials, temptations, affluence, enjoyments, promotions, miracles, testing e.t.c.

There is no permanent deliverance from sin/flesh/unbelief/poverty/demonic-manipulations/untimely-biological-death in any man/woman of God, fasting/prayers, Christian activities e.t.c apart from having a direct personal encounter with the power of the Cross of Jesus Christ Crucified thus "what is born of the flesh is flesh, what is born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:6 KJV).

There is no victory/prosperity that is genuine/long-lasting/eternal apart from that which comes from a personal encounter with the power of Jesus Christ Crucified released on the cross of Calvary thus "If the Son sets you free, you are feed indeed" (John 8:36 KJV).

Seek/desire/yearn to have a direct personal encounter with this power/Grace/revelation/love/mercy/deliverance/faith/life/salvation/truth/reality e.t.c. that GOD released through the death of His only beloved Son; Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary thus "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled/satisfied" (Matthew 5:6)

"If you search for me sincerely with your whole heart, you will find me" (Jeremiah 29:13)

Let God be TRUE;
And
let every being(spirits or persons or ideologies or events or circumstances) be A LIAR;
No matter how *tangible or experiential such a person or circumstance or dreams or revelations or insights appears to you/me* as long as such does not *depict the realities of the Cross( the gospel of Jesus death on the Cross as the only means of our atonement for sin, salvation and deliverance from eternal death/hell-fire, ancestral curses, unfavorable written ordinances, untimely biological death, fear of death, sicknesses, oppressions, afflictions, reproach, depressions, wicked-principalities and powers, addictions, sinful-habits and lifestyle e.t.c. and His resurrection from the dead as New Creation-life and Position in union with Christ within the council of the GOD-HEAD)
Thus "IT IS FINISHED" (John 19:30)

*STOP BUILDING MENTAL BARRIERS AGAINST YOURSELF *
Prov 4:23
23 Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life.
NAS
Prov 4:23
23 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
NLT

When negative thoughts are dwelled on for a long time, it builds barriers in our minds. These barriers limit us in our faith and walk with God. These barriers limit how far we can go in life. It restricts our faith and advancement in life. There are no spiritual or demonic barriers that are strong and lethal as mental barriers. Mental barriers are very powerful because we don’t recognize it or admit that we have them, so they subtly work in the background. Mental barriers are powerful because the devil needs them to succeed. Satan uses them as footholds to have a place in the life of a man. It is extremely difficult to win over and demoralize a man full of faith in God and himself. I believe that this is the reason why God demands that we guard our heart with all diligence. The scripture teaches that above all else we should guard our hearts (minds) so the enemy will not gain entrance and manipulate us to go in the wrong direction in life.

A man is what his thoughts are. No man can live differently from what his dominant thoughts are. Your thoughts form your attitude to life and people. Because the thoughts you think are alive and powerful, as you give your mind continually to a particular idea or thought, it begins to mould your attitude, response and reactions to the things that pertain to the very thought or idea. Through this means, man develops negative mindsets that become invisible barriers that hinder in life and relationships.

The more you think on a thing, the stronger its power over you. The more you give your mind to a subject in meditation and imagination, the stronger its influence and control over your person – your words, emotions, choices, responses, reactions, behavior and actions. Those who go into depression do so because they gave their minds negatively to the negative experience they had. The more they thought negatively about what happened, the angrier and more depressed they became. Depending on the amount of time spent on thinking negatively, that determines how much stronghold that is built within them by the enemy through those negative thoughts.

In the same vein man becomes unbelieving in God as a result of continual dwelling of the mind on negative thoughts about God in relationship to our life experiences and that of others in comparison to how we perceive God. Many have become negative in life, dejected without a fighting spirit, no drive, always blaming someone especially family members for their unfortunate experiences in life, unproductive, suicidal, uninterested in becoming somebody in life, unmotivated, uncommitted to any course or relationship, no vision, unhappy, defeated and unwilling to try new things because of days, weeks, months and years of negative thinking. Building mental blocks or barriers will not take anyone anywhere in life. Negative thoughts build negative strongholds that do not allow a man to move forward in life, but retards, and hinder a man’s progress. Use your mind well. Think right. Think positively. Think based on the word of God.
I break the yoke of negative thoughts in your life in Jesus name. I pray you daily think in line with the word of God in Jesus name. Amen.
(Ifeanyi Bamidele Abe)

And we *are called to submit every thoughts, imaginations, desires, stronghold and arguments from our minds or other people's words to the Crushing Power of Jesus Cross which disarmed principalities and powers as well as publicly disgraced them by the nailing them to the Cross of Jesus for our total and permanent deliverance and freedom in the New Creation-life of Jesus Christ Now dwelling within our mortal-bodies both to will and to do the Father's pleasures through us* by faith *fresh every second such thoughts drop into our minds or other human beings bring up such pictures or ideas or teachings or suggestions* thus
"For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds,

5 [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),

6 Being in readiness to punish every [insubordinate for his] disobedience, when your own submission and obedience [as a church] are fully secured and complete." (2 Cor. 10:4-6 ampc)

"Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions], so now, not only [with the enthusiasm you would show] in my presence but much more because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ).

13 [Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight." (Phil.2:12-13 ampc)

This is what *it means to daily carry/apply our Cross in this New Creation-lifestyle that we have received by grace through faith in Jesus finished works on Calvary* thus
"Anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me daily cannot be my disciple" (Luke 9:23)

"Being conformed unto His death so that the power of His resurrection might be made manifest in me" (Phil. 3:10)

" *Always bearing in our bodies, the manifestations of His death* so that His Life might be expressed through our mortal-bodies effortlessly"
(2 Corinthians 4:10-12)

Sexual Urge Is Not Abnormal

Why do I have urge for sex?

Sexual urge is not only abnormal if you are not the one raising your self sexually.

Can I Be Raising Myself Sexually?
Why Not? If you feed your emotions, you will become sexually high and have urge for sex. You can feed your emotions through what you see, hear and think. If you watch sexual films like porn, blue films, love films etc. You will definitely have more sexual urges than normal. An adult is sexually active, these films will bring you into sexually urge more regularly. If you listen always to sexual and romantic talks, musics not for education, but for pleasure, you will be sexually high. And then, the heart has the capability of keeping in memory and remembering those things you have seen and heard, whereby making you think on them, and of course this will bring sexual urge. For example, you have said No to a sexual advance from a man, but you didn't stop him from communicating you. You enjoy his usual romantic talks: I love you, you are beautiful, you are sexy, you are one in a million etc. When you are alone, all these are capable of raising your emotions.
I was counselling a lady early this morning who told me that a guy was toasting her and has been disturbing her peace, the guy told her that the first time he meets her, he will have sex with her, but she said No, but they still use to talk, but to her surprise he came back asking her for money. Can you see that? For that, what counsel do she need. Just block the line of communication, that's all. Why tempting yourself? Simple!

Your Natural Urge is Normal!
As an adult, you are expected to have sexual urge naturally once in a while. Sexual urge is not only for the married. God is the author of sex. And of course he was the one that made body with sexual urge in preparation for a good sexual life when you get married. And so if you feel like having sex once in a while as an adult it is not abnormal. Most ladies around their ovulation or menstrual period do naturally have sexual urge. And most adults unmarried men do feel sexual urge very early in the morning. In fact if you don't have any sexual feelings at all as an adult preparing for marriage, it is not a good sign.

Sexual Urge for Non Virgins Are More!
If you are no longer a virgin lady or man, know that you will have sexual urge more. That you are saved and have repented from having pre marital sex does not free you from sexual urge. You need more carefulness from anything or anyone that may raise you sexually. The memories of the old sexual pleasure you had will always come to heart. Especially when you are in any environment that can trigger this.

What are the Environment that can trigger it?
*An ex-lover: your ex-lover that you had sex with before can trigger a a sexual urge. You have said 'good bye' let it remain good bye! No pity party. It's no joke to keep an ex-lover as a friend. You wanna go back to Egypt straight if you keep him or her as a friend. Don't play with fire.

*Pictures & Images of a Crush or ex lover
In the past, you lust after someone and called him or her your crush, don't keep his or her pictures. Also, all old chats and pictures of an ex lover should be discarded properly. If not, the memories of old sexual feelings and pleasures will come back.

*Delete all sex films and sex chats
Some people still keep videos of downloaded sex films of porns or some love film. Some even keep naked images of an ex lover etc. This is a good ground for regular temptations to watch and thereby increasing your chances of sexual urge and thereafter sex. These things are very good environment for sexual urge.

What do you do to your sexual urges?
You must not satisfy your sexual urge if you are not married. Many people think the only sinful act is "sex" to satisfy their sexual urge. And so when they feel an urge to have sex, they look for other means to be satisfied. A lots of virgins who have urge for sex satisfy their urge in many ways claiming virgins. If everyone can get satisfied sexually without having real sex, we may all remain virgins forever.
A lots of virgins masturbate when they feel sexual urge. A brother told me recently that her virgin fiancee called him to tell him that she has lost her virginity to masturbation recently seeking my counsel if he should continue the relationship. The brother also a virgin said he has been having several temptations to have sex with her since then. Can you see one of the disadvantages of masturbation here?
As much as the sexual urge is not abnormal it is not normal but sinful to satisfy your sexual urge through masturbation.
As a virgin, I use to have sexual urge around my ovulation period and during my menstrual periods.
First, when it comes, don't entertain that feelings. Brush the feelings aside by doing something constructive, especially if have being into masturbation before. Leave the position you are. You can't masturbate while doing some other things.
Get busy.
You can read the word of God.
You can pray.
You can wash.
You can cook.
You can go out to visit a good friend, considering the time it's happening.

Why Do Some People Overcome Easily?
As we have a lots of unmarried people satisfying their sexual urge through premarital sex and masturbations and other means, there are so many unmarried people that has never satisfied their sexual urge but are overcoming it every time. Some does not even see this as a problem at all. Why?
The kind of life you live daily produces sexual strength or weakness.
To stay strong, you must have a good relationship with God. You must build a consistent prayer life. You must develop a regular bible study life. You must take some time out regularly to fast and pray. It weakens the flesh and makes your spirit more active than the flesh. You must surround yourself with friends that has same vision of sexual purity with you. All you need to overcome is making the spirit having an edge over the flesh.

Also, *you must see obedience to God's word as a must*.
*Your spiritual growth and maturity is in obedience to God. Not your years in faith*.
*How far a man can obey God is a measure of his spiritual Strength, which stems from a good relationship with God.*
God bless you for reading this. You shall be an overcomer in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

"In the early dawn the next morning, as He was coming back to the city, He was hungry.

19 And as He saw one single leafy fig tree above the roadside, He went to it but He found nothing but leaves on it [seeing that in the fig tree the fruit appears at the same time as the leaves]. And He said to it, Never again shall fruit grow on you! And the fig tree withered up at once.

20 When the disciples saw it, they marveled greatly and asked, How is it that the fig tree has withered away all at once?

21 And Jesus answered them, Truly I say to you, if you have faith (a firm relying trust) and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea, it will be done.

22 And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith and [really] believing, you will receive." (Matthew 21:18-22 ampc)

"Therefore, since we are justified (acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God) through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have [the peace of reconciliation to hold and to enjoy] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
2 Through Him also we have [our] access (entrance, introduction) by faith into this grace (state of God’s favor) in which we [firmly and safely] stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God.
3 Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance.
4 And endurance (fortitude) develops maturity of character (approved faith and tried integrity). And character [of this sort] produces [the habit of] joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation.
5 Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us.
6 While we were yet in weakness [powerless to help ourselves], at the fitting time Christ died for (in behalf of) the ungodly.
7 Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to give his life even for an upright man, though perhaps for a noble and lovable and generous benefactor someone might even dare to die.
8 But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.
9 Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ’s blood, how much more [certain is it that] we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God.
10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, it is much more [certain], now that we are reconciled, that we shall be saved (daily delivered from sin’s dominion) through His [resurrection] life.
11 Not only so, but we also rejoice and exultingly glory in God [in His love and perfection] through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom we have now received and enjoy [our] reconciliation." (Romans 5:1-11 ampc)

IMMODEST DRESSING: THE KILLER OF BODY AND SOUL
On January 12, 1930, Pope Pius xi issued emphatic instructions on modesty of dress to all bishops, directing them to insist on these prescriptions:
"We recall that a dress cannot be called decent which is cut deeper than two fingers breadth under the pit of the throat, which does not cover the arms at least to the elbows, and scarcely reaches a bit beyond the knee". Furthermore, dresses of transparent material are improper. Let parents keep their daughters away from public gymnastic games and other contests: but if their daughters are compelled to attend such exhibitions, let them see to it that they are fully and modestly dressed. Let them never permit their daughters to wear immodest dress".

The feminine loss of the sense of modesty was indicated by Pope Pius XII who said: "Today many girls do not see anything wrong with following certain shameless styles(fashion) like so many sheep. They would surely blush if they could only guess the impressions they make and the feelings they evoke(arouse) in those who see them." (July 17, 1954).

St John Chrysostom also warned that, "You carry your snare everywhere and spread your nets in all places. You allege that you never invited others to sin. You did not indeed by your words but you have done so by your dress and your deportment.... When you have made another sin in his heart, how can you be innocent"?
MEN, also are held to the virtue of modesty. Men should not wear tight-fitting clothes or in general, go shirtless in public (and especially for fathers, even around the home in front of their children). Sagging, tiny speedosuit, scanty bathing suit or swimsuits etc are improper.

IN GENERAL, clothes should hide the shape of the body rather than accentuate it.
St Nilus, a 5th century hermit foretold that " after the year 1900, towards the middle of 20th century, the people of that time will become unrecognizable..... People's appearance will change, and it will be impossible to distinguish men from women due to their shamelessness in dress and style of hair". (prophecy of Saint Nilus)

Also on this issue, the Holy scripture warns us thus: ",women are not to wear men's clothing, and men are not to wear women's clothing, the Lord your God hates people who do such things.(Deut. 22 Vs 5). Believe it because God is
one whether in old testament or new testament.

Pope Pius xii cautioned women that if certain styles were an occasion of sin for others and endangers the salvation of your soul and others, it is your duty to give it up. We have to prefer the spiritual welfare of our neighbors to our bodily comforts - The Holy Father concluded.
CUSTOM: The opinion which allows custom to dictate the question of modesty was refuted by Pope Pius XII in one short sentence:
"There always exists an absolute norm to be preserved." custom, of course pays no attention to absolute norms, but it is a follower of this false principle: ".... the majority cannot go wrong ."
To say that "...... modesty is a matter of custom" is just as wrong as to say that "....honesty is a matter of custom".

In Fatima, the mother of Christ - the blessed Virgin Mary warned us thus: the sins of the world are too great! The sins which lead most souls to hell are sins of the flesh! Certain fashions are going to be introduced which will offend Our Lord very much. Those who serve God should not follow these fashions. The Church had no fashion, Our Lord is always the same.
The big question is this: Is what i'm wearing or the way i'm dressing going to lead others (opposite sex) into sin.

THE HELL EXPERIENCE
1) Rev. Fr. Eusebius Nieremburg, relates the story of a noble and exceedingly pious lady, who asked God to make known to her what displeased His Divine Majesty most in person of her sex. The Lord vouchsafed in a miraculous manner to hear her. He opened under her eyes the eternal abyss. Behold she saw a woman recognized as her friend who have not lived badly. Then that unhappy soul said to her: "It is true that i practiced religion, but I was a slave of vanity. Ruled by the passion to please, I was not afraid to adopt indecent fashions to attract attention, and I enkindled the fire of impurity in more than one soul.

St. Frances of Rome relates a similar vision. God willed to show her, in the fires of hell, certain ladies whom she had known in Roman society. For what sins had these souls been damned? They had been damned:
. for guilty desires, even though these had not been put into act.
. for indecent styles of dress, which were the fashion of the day, and which had been a cause of seduction and of sin.
. for dances, considered inoffensive by the world.

Finally, O Christian mothers, if only you knew the future distress, peril and ill-restrained shame that you prepare for your sons and daughters by imprudently accustoming them to live barely clothed, and permitting them to lose the sense of modesty, you would be ashamed of yourself, and of the harm done to the little ones entrusted to you by Heaven to be reared in a Christian dignity and culture."

CONCLUSION
Let us conclude this Easter reflection with this passage copied from Our Lady of the Rosary Library: ,,Woe to women who dress immodestly! Woe to fathers and husbands who do not correct their wives and daughters! Woe to pastors of souls if they remain silent! Woe to us, for this is one of the sins which causes most souls to go to hell, sins of the flesh.
Let us dress like heavenly candidates which we are, still wishing you and loved ones blissful and graceful Easter celebrations.

"You must know (recognize) that you were redeemed (ransomed) from the useless (fruitless) way of living inherited by tradition from [your] forefathers, not with corruptible things [such as] silver and gold, But [you were purchased] with the precious blood of Christ (the Messiah), like that of a [sacrificial] lamb without blemish or spot." (1 Peter 1:18-19 ampc)

"Therefore, as sin came into the world through one man, and death as the result of sin, so death spread to all men, [no one being able to stop it or to escape its power] because all men sinned.
13 [To be sure] sin was in the world before ever the Law was given, but sin is not charged to men’s account where there is no law [to transgress].
14 Yet death held sway from Adam to Moses [the Lawgiver], even over those who did not themselves transgress [a positive command] as Adam did. Adam was a type (prefigure) of the One Who was to come [in reverse, the former destructive, the Latter saving].
15 But God’s free gift is not at all to be compared to the trespass [His grace is out of all proportion to the fall of man]. For if many died through one man’s falling away (his lapse, his offense), much more profusely did God’s grace and the free gift [that comes] through the undeserved favor of the one Man Jesus Christ abound and overflow to and for [the benefit of] many.
16 Nor is the free gift at all to be compared to the effect of that one [man’s] sin. For the sentence [following the trespass] of one [man] brought condemnation, whereas the free gift [following] many transgressions brings justification (an act of righteousness).
17 For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
18 Well then, as one man’s trespass [one man’s false step and falling away led] to condemnation for all men, so one Man’s act of righteousness [leads] to acquittal and right standing with God and life for all men.
19 For just as by one man’s disobedience (failing to hear, heedlessness, and carelessness) the many were constituted sinners, so by one Man’s obedience the many will be constituted righteous (made acceptable to God, brought into right standing with Him).
20 But then Law came in, [only] to expand and increase the trespass [making it more apparent and exciting opposition]. But where sin increased and abounded, grace (God’s unmerited favor) has surpassed it and increased the more and super-abounded,
21 So that, [just] as sin has reigned in death, [so] grace (His unearned and undeserved favor) might reign also through righteousness (right standing with God) which issues in eternal life through Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) our Lord." (Romans 5:12-21 ampc)

"What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He came to the first and said, Son, go and work today in the vineyard.

29 And he answered, I will not; but afterward he changed his mind and went.

30 Then the man came to the second and said the same [thing]. And he replied, I will [go], sir; but he did not go.

31 Which of the two did the will of the father? They replied, The first one. Jesus said to them, Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the harlots will get into the kingdom of heaven before you.

32 For John came to you walking in the way of an upright man in right standing with God, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the harlots did believe him; and you, even when you saw that, did not afterward change your minds and believe him [adhere to, trust in, and rely on what he told you]." For those pictures some of us post where they are naked or half-naked or with sexually arousing postures:
please these pictures/videos/images of yours(both men and women) that is exposing some or all parts of your unclothedness as if you are inviting someone towards sexual intimacy with you immediately which we post on the public domain of facebook does it not seem to you that you are leading other human being to temptations of sexual lust and hell-fire ?

I thought you are a christian who wants to go to heaven and who wants to lead other human being to heaven ?

"But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in and acknowledge and cleave to Me to stumble and sin [that is, who entices him or hinders him in right conduct or thought], it would be better (more expedient and profitable or advantageous) for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be sunk in the depth of the sea.

7 Woe/Curse to the world for such temptations to sin and influences to do wrong! It is necessary that temptations come, but woe/curse to the person on whose account or by whom the temptation comes!" (Matthew 18:6-7 ampc)

AND FOR THOSE WHO WILL NOT REMOVE THEIR EYES AND HEARTS FROM SUCH PERSONS, IMAGES AND VIDEOS:
"Be careful therefore how you listen/look/gaze/think..." (Luke 8:18 ampc)

"Be very careful about what you think. Your thoughts run your life" (Proverbs 4:23 ICB)

"You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery.

28 But I say to you that everyone who so much as looks at a woman with evil desire for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

29 If your right eye serves as a trap to ensnare you or is an occasion for you to stumble and sin, pluck it out and throw it away. It is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be cast into hell (Gehenna)." (Matthew 5:27-29 ampc)

IF JESUS CHRIST CRUCIFIED APPEARS IN THE SKY WITH THE ARCHANGELS TRUMPET NOW:
How is our relationship with Jesus Christ Crucified on the Cross of Calvary for our deliverance from sin and complete holiness going ?

Are we making progress in this our personal relationship with Jesus Christ Crucified ?

Can you/I say that if Jesus comes now; I/you will be going to meet HIM ?

Are we obeying the Holy Spirit instructions for righteousness in the secret of our thoughts and external behaviors from our hearts or are we looking around to check if there is another human being monitoring-us ?

"But thanks be to God that you, having *once been slaves of sin*, have *become obedient from the heart to the teaching to which you were entrusted* " (Romans 6:17)

"For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, *says the Lord: I will imprint My laws upon their minds, even upon their innermost thoughts and understanding, and engrave them upon their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.*

11 *And it will nevermore be necessary for each one to teach his neighbor and his fellow citizen or each one his brother, saying, Know (perceive, have knowledge of, and get acquainted by experience with) the Lord, for all will know Me, from the smallest to the greatest of them.*

12 For *I will be merciful and gracious toward their sins and I will remember their deeds of unrighteousness no more.*

13 When God speaks of a new [covenant or agreement], He makes the first one obsolete (out of use). And what is obsolete (out of use and annulled because of age) is ripe for disappearance and to be dispensed with altogether." (Hebrews 8:10-13 ampc)

"But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel: After those days, *says the Lord, I will put My law within them, and on their hearts will I write it; and I will be their God, and they will be My people.*

34 *And they will no more teach each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for they will all know Me [recognize, understand, and be acquainted with Me], from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord*. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will [seriously] remember their sin no more." (Jeremiah 31:33-34 ampc)

"Therefore say to the house of Israel, *Thus says the Lord God: I do not do this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake*, which you have profaned among the nations to which you went.

23 And I will vindicate the holiness of My great name and separate it for its holy purpose from all that defiles it—My name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them—and the nations will know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord [the Sovereign Ruler, Who calls forth loyalty and obedient service], when I shall be set apart by you and My holiness vindicated in you before their eyes and yours.

24 For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all countries and bring you into your own land.

25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleanness; and from all your idols will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you, and *I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh(mortal-body) and give you a heart of flesh(a heart always willing to obey God's perfect-will).*

27 And *I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall heed My ordinances and do them.*

28 And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be My people, and I will be your God.

29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses, and I will call forth the grain and make it abundant and lay no famine on you.

30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field, that you may no more suffer the reproach and disgrace of famine among the nations.

31 Then you shall [earnestly] remember your own evil ways and your doings that were not good, and shall loathe(detest) yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominable deeds.

32 *Not for your sake do I do this, says the Lord God; let that be known to you*. Be ashamed and confounded for your [own] wicked ways, O house of Israel!

33 Thus says the Lord God: In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities I will [also] cause [Israel’s] cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be rebuilt.

34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, that which had lain desolate in the sight of all who passed by.

35 And they shall say, *This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden, and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.*

36 Then the nations that are left round about you shall know that I the Lord have rebuilt the ruined places and replanted that which was desolate. I the Lord have spoken it, and I will do it.

37 Thus says the Lord God: For this also I will let the house of Israel inquire of Me to do it for them; I will increase their men like a flock.

38 Like the flock of holy things for sacrifice, like the flock of Jerusalem in her [solemn] appointed feasts, so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men; and they shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord [the Sovereign Ruler, Who calls forth loyalty and obedient service]."
(Ezekiel 36: 22-38 ampc)

"The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.]"
(John 14:21 ampc)

"Anyone who confesses (acknowledges, owns) that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides (lives, makes His home) in him and he [abides, lives, makes his home] in God.

16 And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.

17 In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, *that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.*

18 There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].

19 We love Him, because He first loved us.

20 If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother [in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen.

21 And this command (charge, order, injunction) we have from Him: that he who loves God shall love his brother [believer] also."
(1 John 4:15-20 ampc)

"You will know the truth and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32)

" *He who believes in the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] has the testimony [possesses this divine attestation] within himself/herself*. He who does not believe God [in this way] has made Him out to be and represented Him as a liar, because he has not believed (put his faith in, adhered to, and relied on) the evidence (the testimony) that God has borne regarding His Son.

11 And this is that testimony (that evidence): God gave us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

12 He who possesses the Son has that life; he who does not possess the Son of God does not have that life." (1 John 5:10-12 ampc)

"Watch therefore [give strict attention, be cautious and active], for you do not know in what kind of a day [whether a near or remote one] your Lord is coming." (Matthew 24:42 ampc)

Let the sinner, repent from sin/unbelief and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (Mark 1:15)

Let the believers, persist in righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ Crucified for it is only those who persevere till the end in this type of righteousness will be lifted up to meet with Jesus when He appears in the sky with the trumpet of the archangels (Matthew 24:13)

"Listen to another parable: There was a master of a house who planted a vineyard and put a hedge around it and dug a wine vat in it and built a watchtower. Then he let it out [for rent] to tenants and went into another country.

34 When the fruit season drew near, he sent his servants to the tenants to get his [share of the] fruit.

35 But the tenants took his servants and beat one, killed another, and stoned another.

36 Again he sent other servants, more than the first time, and they treated them the same way.

37 Finally he sent his own son to them, saying, They will respect and give heed to my son.

38 But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, This is the heir; come on, let us kill him and have his inheritance.

39 And they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.

40 Now when the owner of the vineyard comes back, what will he do to those tenants?

41 They said to Him, He will put those wretches to a miserable death and rent the vineyard to other tenants of such a character that they will give him the fruits promptly in their season.

42 Jesus asked them, Have you never read in the Scriptures: The very Stone which the builders rejected and threw away has become the Cornerstone; this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?

43 I tell you, for this reason the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce the fruits of it.

44 And whoever falls on this Stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom It falls will be crushed to powder [and It will winnow him, scattering him like dust].

45 And when the chief priests and the Pharisees heard His parables (comparisons, stories used to illustrate and explain), they perceived that He was talking about them.

46 And although they were trying to arrest Him, they feared the throngs because they regarded Him as a prophet."

"What then [are we to conclude]? Shall we sin because we live not under Law but under God’s favor and mercy? Certainly not!

16 Do you not know that if you continually surrender yourselves to anyone to do his will, you are the slaves of him whom you obey, whether that be to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience which leads to righteousness (right doing and right standing with God)?

17 But thank God, though you were once slaves of sin, you have become obedient with all your heart to the standard of teaching in which you were instructed and to which you were committed.

18 And having been set free from sin, you have become the servants of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in thought, purpose, and action).

19 I am speaking in familiar human terms because of your natural limitations. For as you yielded your bodily members [and faculties] as servants to impurity and ever increasing lawlessness, so now yield your bodily members [and faculties] once for all as servants to righteousness (right being and doing) [which leads] to sanctification.

20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.

21 But then what benefit (return) did you get from the things of which you are now ashamed? [None] for the end of those things is death.

22 But now since you have been set free from sin and have become the slaves of God, you have your present reward in holiness and its end is eternal life.

23 For the wages which sin pays is death, but the [bountiful] free gift of God is eternal life through (in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:15-23 ampc)

"Do you not know, brethren—for I am speaking to men who are acquainted with the Law—that legal claims have power over a person only for as long as he is alive?

2 For [instance] a married woman is bound by law to her husband as long as he lives; but if her husband dies, she is loosed and discharged from the law concerning her husband.

3 Accordingly, she will be held an adulteress if she unites herself to another man while her husband lives. But if her husband dies, the marriage law no longer is binding on her [she is free from that law]; and if she unites herself to another man, she is not an adulteress.

4 Likewise, my brethren, you have undergone death as to the Law through the [crucified] body of Christ, so that now you may belong to Another, to Him Who was raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit for God.

5 When we were living in the flesh (mere physical lives), the sinful passions that were awakened and aroused up by [what] the Law [makes sin] were constantly operating in our natural powers (in our bodily organs, in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh), so that we bore fruit for death.

6 But now we are discharged from the Law and have terminated all intercourse with it, having died to what once restrained and held us captive. So now we serve not under [obedience to] the old code of written regulations, but [under obedience to the promptings] of the Spirit in newness [of life]." (Romans 7:1-6 ampc)

Our death inside Jesus Christ Crucified on the Cross of Calvary separated us from our old husband “Mr Flesh”; hence we are free to marry a new husband; CHRIST!!!

7 What then do we conclude? Is the Law identical with sin? Certainly not! Nevertheless, if it had not been for the Law, I should not have recognized sin or have known its meaning. [For instance] I would not have known about covetousness [would have had no consciousness of sin or sense of guilt] if the Law had not [repeatedly] said, You shall not covet and have an evil desire [for one thing and another].

8 But sin, finding opportunity in the commandment [to express itself], got a hold on me and aroused and stimulated all kinds of forbidden desires (lust, covetousness). For without the Law sin is dead [the sense of it is inactive and a lifeless thing].

9 Once I was alive, but quite apart from and unconscious of the Law. But when the commandment came, sin lived again and I died (was sentenced by the Law to death).

10 And the very legal ordinance which was designed and intended to bring life actually proved [to mean to me] death.

11 For sin, seizing the opportunity and getting a hold on me [by taking its incentive] from the commandment, beguiled and entrapped and cheated me, and using it [as a weapon], killed me.

12 The Law therefore is holy, and [each] commandment is holy and just and good.

13 Did that which is good then prove fatal [bringing death] to me? Certainly not! It was sin, working death in me by using this good thing [as a weapon], in order that through the commandment sin might be shown up clearly to be sin, that the extreme malignity and immeasurable sinfulness of sin might plainly appear." Ephesians 5:17 ".... discover and understand what the perfect-will of God is for your life for every second and with prayers of faith as well as actions of faith, walk inside it without getting distracted by the distractions of your physical environments/challenges/problems/sicknesses/pains/frustrations/fears"

Because *all these negative environments will pass-away with their painful effects upon you just like Jesus passed through the torment of hell-fire in infinity of time for the sin of mankind which He did not commit* but He trusted His Father till the end and came out of it with the victorious utterance and confirmation of *IT IS FINISHED* (John 19:30)

Whatever *any believer is passing through because of righteousness (not because of personal sinful living)* is already *finished/completed in glory in the Heavenly Realm* just a matter of *our human timing aligning with the Heavenly timing for manifestations if we remain consistent to the end in holiness through faith in Jesus Christ Crucified*
Thus
"For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Holy Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And *let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting holy and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.* (Gal. 6:8-9 amp)

Re: The Christian Chatbox ( sticky) by ochibuogwu5: 3:15pm On Apr 29, 2021
Seeking for a particular prayer-type that will release God's mercy, grace, favour, breakthrough and deliverance upon your life ?
"It is Finished/settled/cleansed/completed/established/manifested/destroyed {for negative thoughts/ideas/imaginations/strongholds/anti-gospel-arguments/covenants/altars/ancestral curses/addictions/wicked-principalities and powers}" (John 19:30)

I will encourage you to redefine your position of heart and mind in the finished works of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary then the Holy Spirit gives you a leading on what to pray because any prayer not based on the leadings of the Holy Spirit according to our position in the finished works of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary is just empty religious babble that does not have any connection with the GOD-HEAD (Father, Son and the Holy Spirit) thus
"And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that *if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears/answers us*. " (1 John 5:14 ampc)

The provisions of God's grace is not based upon our prayers hence whether human beings pray or not; they are still given the provisions of God's grace to be alive(breath of life), healthy, rich, married and manifesting dynamic scientific ideas/inventions because God is always releasing the provisions of His grace towards mankind whether human beings choose to be faithful or not but the primary capacity of this grace of God is to draw us unto repentance from sin and salvation inside the Crucified Jesus Christ which each human being must choose to do deliberately, intentionally, committedly and persistently till the second coming of Jesus Christ after hearing the gospel
thus
"If we are faithless/unfaithful [do not believe and are untrue to Him], *He remains true (faithful to His Word and His righteous character), for He cannot deny Himself* ." (2 Timothy 2:13 ampc)

"For the *grace of God* (His unmerited favor and blessing) *has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for ALL MANKIND*.
12 It(this same grace of God) has *trained us to reject/resist and renounce all ungodliness/sinfulness (irreligion) and worldly (passionate) desires, this same grace has trained/taught us how to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), righteous, holy (spiritually whole) lives in this present world(Nigeria, Africa, Europe, USA, Asia, Australia e.t.c.),
13 Awaiting and looking for the [fulfillment, the realization of our] blessed hope, even the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One),
14 Who gave Himself on our behalf that *He might redeem us (purchase our freedom) from ALL INIQUITY and purify for Himself a people [to be peculiarly His own, people who are] eager and enthusiastic about [living a life that is HOLY and filled with] beneficial deeds." (Titus 2:11-14 ampc)

It is by this new creation-life inside the Crucified Jesus Christ that each believer can now be prompted to live, act, pray and manifest the prayers that releases the perfect-will of God and the advancement of God's kingdom to be done on earth as it is done in Heaven under the leading of the Holy Spirit thus
"Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions], so now, not only [with the enthusiasm you would show] in my presence but much more because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ).

13 *[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.*

14 Do all things *without grumbling and faultfinding and complaining [against God]* and questioning and doubting [among yourselves],

15 That you may show yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish (faultless, unrebukable) in the midst of a crooked and wicked generation [spiritually perverted and perverse], among whom you are seen as bright lights (stars or beacons shining out clearly) in the [dark] world,

16 *Holding out [to it/the world] and offering [to all men] the Word of Life*, so that in the day of Christ I may have something of which exultantly to rejoice and glory in that I did not run my race in vain or spend my labor to no purpose." (Phil. 2:12-16 ampc)

This is why the only prayer of a sinner that God listens to is where he/she repents from sin and accepts death inside the Crucified Jesus Christ as well as the replacement of this old dead-self/flesh with the New Creation-life of Jesus Christ who now begins to both will and do His good pleasures through such persons body by the every second application of the Cross both in the secrets of his/her thoughts as well as external behaviours thus
"If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me;" (Psalm 66:18)

"Now after John was arrested and put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the good news (the Gospel) of the kingdom of God,
15 And saying, The [appointed period of] time is fulfilled (completed), and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent (have a change of mind which issues in regret for past sins and in change of conduct for the better) and believe (trust in, rely on, and adhere to) the good news (the Gospel)."
(Mark 1:14-15 ampc)

"But what does it say? The Word (God’s message in Christ) is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is, the Word (the message, the basis and object) of faith which we preach,

9 Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.

11 The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed.

12 [No one] for there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. The same Lord is Lord over all [of us] and He generously bestows His riches upon all who call upon Him [in faith].

13 For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking Him as Lord] will be saved." (Romans 10:8-13 ampc)

While for a believer; his/her lifestyle whether the secret thoughts or external behaviours are submitted every second to the crushing power of Jesus Christ Cross such that his/her life becomes a pleasing fragrance of Christ unto God as the Holy Spirit leads via vocal, mental, actions and lifestyle as prayers of Christ Jesus Crucified to the Father through him/her fresh every second of this earthly existence
thus
"Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and *He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit*." (John 15:2 ampc)

"And He said to all, If any person wills to come after Me, let him deny himself [disown himself, forget, lose sight of himself and his own interests, refuse and give up himself] and *take up his cross daily and follow Me* [cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also]." (Luke 9:23 ampc)

"Always carrying about in the body the liability and exposure to the same putting to death that the Lord Jesus suffered, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown forth by and in our bodies.
11 For we who live are constantly [experiencing] being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake, that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be evidenced through our flesh which is liable to death.
12 Thus death is actively at work in us, but [it is in order that our] life [may be actively at work] in you." (2 Cor.4:10-12 ampc)

"[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that *I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death*, [in the hope] That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body]." (Phil. 3:10-11 ampc)

"For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [which exhales] unto God, [discernible alike] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing:" (2 Cor. 2:15 ampc)

It is finished (John 19:30) also depicts that everything we need on this earth for us to live a holy and good life has been provided by God inside the finished works of Jesus Christ on the Cross (2 Peter 1:3) by the power of the Holy Spirit hence we need to believe in this truth above all the thoughts and suggestions of our minds no matter what our physical circumstances are projecting upon us or even the painful experiences, persecutions (John 16:33) and if we wait faithfully upon Christ in holiness without sin or sinful-admirations; at the appointed time of the GOD-HEAD, He will manifest His eternal plans in our individual lives and as a body of Christ even as we bear in mind that His plans for each of us are for good and not for evil but to give us a future with expectations (Jeremiah 29:11).

"...Though the promises of God for your particular life or situation seems to be delaying (tarries), wait for it, "it will surely" come to pass/manifestation" (Habakkuk 2:3)

"So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples.

32 And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.

33 They answered Him, We are Abraham’s offspring (descendants) and have never been in bondage to anybody. What do You mean by saying, You will be set free?

34 Jesus answered them, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Whoever commits and practices sin is the slave of sin.

35 Now a slave does not remain in a household permanently (forever); the son [of the house] does remain forever.

36 So if the Son liberates you [makes you free men], then you are really and unquestionably free.

37 [Yes] I know that you are Abraham’s offspring; yet you plan to kill Me, because My word has no entrance (makes no progress, does not find any place) in you.

38 I tell the things which I have seen and learned at My Father’s side, and your actions also reflect what you have heard and learned from your father." (John 8:31-38 ampc)

"Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)." (Ephesians 4:15 ampc)

"Now when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced (muzzled) the Sadducees, they gathered together.

35 And one of their number, a lawyer, asked Him a question to test Him.

36 Teacher, which [e]kind of commandment is great and important (the principal kind) in the Law? [Some commandments are light—which are heavy?]

37 And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect).

38 This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment.

39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.

40 These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets." (Matthew 22:34-40 ampc)

Knowledge of the Scriptures as it reveals Christ and Him Crucified alone:
"For I resolved to know nothing (to be acquainted with nothing, to make a display of the knowledge of nothing, and to be conscious of nothing) among you except Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and Him crucified." (1 Cor. 2:2 ampc)

"The same day some Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection [of the dead], came to Him and they asked Him a question,

24 Saying, Teacher, Moses said, If a man dies, leaving no children, his brother shall marry the widow and raise up a family for his brother.

25 Now there were seven brothers among us; the first married and died, and, having no children, left his wife to his brother.

26 The second also died childless, and the third, down to the seventh.

27 Last of all, the woman died also.

28 Now, in the resurrection, to which of the seven will she be wife? For they all had her.

29 But Jesus replied to them, You are wrong because you know neither the Scriptures nor God’s power.

30 For in the resurrected state neither do [men] marry nor are [women] given in marriage, but they are like the angels in heaven.

31 But as to the resurrection of the dead—have you never read what was said to you by God,

32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead but of the living!

33 And when the throng heard it, they were astonished and filled with [glad] amazement at His teaching." (Matthew 22:23-33 ampc)

Knowledge of the Scriptures as it reveals *Christ and Him Crucified alone under the Holy Spirit Revelation* is the only means of *discovering the perfect-will of God for our human existence* not just some personal interpretations or traditional interpretations of some persons/institutions/groups thus
"Jesus said to them "You search and investigate and pore over the Scriptures diligently, because you suppose and trust that you have eternal life through them. *And these [very Scriptures] testify(bears witness) about Me*!

40 And still you are not willing [but refuse] to come to Me, so that you might have life.

41 I receive not glory from men [I crave no human honor, I look for no mortal fame],

42 But I know you and recognize and understand that you have not the love of God in you.

43 I have come in My Father’s name and with His power, and you do not receive Me [your hearts are not open to Me, you give Me no welcome]; but if another comes in his own name and his own power and with no other authority but himself, you will receive him and give him your approval.

44 How is it possible for you to believe [how can you learn to believe], you who [are content to seek and] receive praise and honor and glory from one another, and yet do not seek the praise and honor and glory which come from Him Who alone is God?

45 *Put out of your minds the thought and do not suppose [as some of you are supposing] that I will accuse you before the Father. There is one who accuses you—it is Moses(the church doctrines/dogmas/names of persons used for prayers instead of Jesus name/groups/institution names), the very one on whom you have built your hopes [in whom you trust].*

46 For if you believed and relied on Moses, you would believe and rely on Me, for *he wrote about Me [personally]*.

47 But if you do not believe and trust his writings, how then will you believe and trust My teachings? [How shall you cleave to and rely on My words?]" (John 5:39-47 ampc)

"But when *He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth)*. For *He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]*.

14 *He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you*.

15 Everything that the Father has is Mine. *That is what I meant when I said that He [the Spirit] will take the things that are Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you* ." (John 16:13-15 ampc)

THE FALSE CLAIMS AND DECEPTIVE PROMISES OF MONEY
In Ecclesiastes 10:19 the preacher says:

“A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.”

Some other versions render the last phrase as follows:

“…but money is the answer for everything” NIV

“… and money gives everything” LB

“… and money answers everything”. RSV

“… and money is the answer to everything” NASB

What is the scope of the usefulness of money? Is money the answer to everything? What is the scope of the “everything” several versions are referring to above?

Specifically, is money the answer to all the problems of a man’s life? Does money guarantee its owner the cure for every sickness and disease? Certainly not. Otherwise, no world-famous rich monarch would ever have died of sickness. But many have and some still do. Is money the solution for every security problem? Certainly not. In actual reality, the rich are targeted more often by robbers and assassins, than the poor. Does money eliminate every form of accident from a person’s life? No, far from it. Accidents claim the limbs, lives and property of all, irrespective of financial status. Does money exempt a person from dying? Is there an amount of money a person has that could take away the fear of death from his or her heart? Not at all. All the money in this world cannot extend the life of one desperate soul for an extra day after death has actually called. Does money offer any effective solution to demonic oppression and spiritual bondage? Can money deliver a person from the power of sin, and transform him or her to a saint before God? Does money guarantee eternity in heaven for anyone? The answer to all these questions is a capital NO. Money has no answer to any spiritual problem.

Money is certainly not the answer to literally everything. In fact, what money has the ability to answer is very limited, and it is restricted in its effect to some of the cares of this present life only.

So, what then is the preacher talking about? Let us start by looking a little more closely at the King James version. You will notice that the last word in that verse (Eccl. 10:19); the word “thing” is in italics. The implication is that the original text in the Greek is without the word “thing.” That is, it literally reads as follows.

“but money answereth all”

This has removed the impression of generalization in the scope of what money answers, a generalization that the introduction of the word “thing” seems to convey. Now, it is clear that the matter raised previously in the same verse is “all” that the Preacher is referring to in the last phrase. The translators only to achieve a complete sentence in English helpfully added the word “thing.” That is, a feast along with the laughter it generates, as well as wine together with the merriment it stimulates; everything is set up by money. This must be the “everything” which other versions are referring to as well. It is a grave violation of the standard principles of Biblical interpretation for anyone to stretch the meaning of that last phrase of Eccl. 10:9 beyond the context of its verse, and beyond the context of its chapter, and beyond the context of its book, and even beyond the context of the Bible. Such grave misinterpretation is an offence to God’s word.

But mammon, the spirit controlling money, itself silently claims that it can answer all things. And many unsuspecting people have become faithful believers in its false claims. Hereunder are some of its false assertions that have lured away many hearts into hell and are still luring more. Which of them has your heart already taken in? Please, check along.

Money, assets, riches or wealth claim(s) to guarantee security from the common risk of life and to shield the dependent from the foreseeable inconveniences human beings experience. Wealth claims that with enough money, you can be shielded from disgrace, embarrassment, insult, and scorn. It purports to shield us from bodily harm, pain, discomfort, exploitation or oppression. Mammon quietly suggests that with enough money you are secured from the scourge of poverty. You are then insulated from the fear of lack, failure in life, loneliness, boredom, and insignificance.

Riches claim to guarantee happiness, peace, and joy. But Eccl. 10: 19 says that happiness and merriment which money brings is arranged. It is mechanical and superficial. It is not of the heart and lacks depth. It does not last beyond the duration of the party, nor endures beyond the time of wine. As the party ends and the wine finishes so the gladness ceases. If you need more, you have to arrange again. And between one party and the next, you only have a hangover to cope with.

Money claims that with it around, you need not fear any evil. It contends to be a more handy and pragmatic solution to human problems than God who is invisible. Money silently assures hearts of men that it is an adequate and sufficient answer to everything foreseeable or unforeseeable, such as court cases, war, famine, sickness and disease, accidents, customary responsibilities of life, assault or robbery, to name a few.

Mammon insists that even if we must fear God to prepare for eternity, we must still respect money in order to survive in this life. Mammon seeks to convince us that certain things that are necessary for us on earth must require money to accomplish. Even some preachers have come to believe that without money, it is impossible for God to do His work on earth. We are beginning to get the impression that money has the power to hold even God to ransom. Is the Creator and Sovereign Ruler now at the mercy of a concept of exchange on the earth? No. God has not changed. Rather, we are the ones who are changing. We are quietly trusting more and more in money, but less and less in God.

Stop right here to assess your own heart. Do you believe in God or in earthly riches? Or do you choose to believe in both? Jesus says, “You cannot serve God and mammon.” (Mt. 6:24). It simply does not work out. It never has, and never will.

All the above claims, which our adversary, the devil has sponsored to accompany money or riches on earth are totally false. God is the only secure source of dependable help for our lives in every situation. As it is written:

“Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” James 1:16-17

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”…Psalm 46:1-7

He is the only sure guarantee a person may have for earthly sustenance and for eternal salvation. He needs no argumentation. He is adequate as our Keeper, and neither slumbers nor sleeps (Ps. 121). Any life that does not rely on God for his or her defence, any other security arrangement he or she makes is in vain. As it is written:

“Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it; except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Ps 127:1 The enemy’s strategy is simply to draw our hearts away from God in order to rob us of our genuine source of defence. He is seeking to isolate us into the empty security of earthly riches in order to mock us, and then to steal, to kill and to destroy our souls. May your own soul not be captured through the temptation of mammon, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. (Living Seed Media)

"Therefore, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death.

3 For God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh [the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [subdued, overcame, deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice],

4 So that the righteous and just requirement of the Law might be fully met in us who live and move not in the ways of the flesh but in the ways of the Spirit [our lives governed not by the standards and according to the dictates of the flesh, but controlled by the Holy Spirit].

5 For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit.

6 Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].

7 [That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; indeed it cannot.

8 So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him.

9 But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the [Holy] Spirit of God [really] dwells within you [directs and controls you]. But if anyone does not possess the [Holy] Spirit of Christ, he is none of His [he does not belong to Christ, is not truly a child of God].

10 But if Christ lives in you, [then although] your [natural] body is dead by reason of sin and guilt, the spirit is alive because of [the] righteousness [that He imputes to you].

11 And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.

12 So then, brethren, we are debtors, but not to the flesh [we are not obligated to our carnal nature], to live [a life ruled by the standards set up by the dictates] of the flesh.

13 For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever.

14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

15 For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father!

16 The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God.

17 And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory." (Romans 8:1-17 ampc)

"[But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!

19 For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].

20 For the creation (nature) was subjected to frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him Who so subjected it—[yet] with the hope

21 That nature (creation) itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption [and gain an entrance] into the glorious freedom of God’s children.

22 We know that the whole creation [of irrational creatures] has been moaning together in the pains of labor until now.

23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves too, who have and enjoy the first-fruits of the [Holy] Spirit [a foretaste of the blissful things to come] groan inwardly as we wait for the redemption of our bodies [from sensuality and the grave, which will reveal] our adoption (our manifestation as God’s sons).

24 For in [this] hope we were saved. But hope [the object of] which is seen is not hope. For how can one hope for what he already sees?

25 But if we hope for what is still unseen by us, we wait for it with patience and composure.

26 So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.

27 And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will.

28 We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.

29 For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren.

30 And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being]." (Romans 8:18-30 ampc)

"But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]." (Hebrews 11:6 ampc)
