It's a shame the kind of testimonies our seniors in this field have been giving,concerning;poularity,job vacancies,respects..... So I see it mandatory to open another thread for the under-graduate of this courses.....the way forward for we not to fall victims of the predicaments of our seniors in this field...... Whether this courses are worth even studying in the first place....... |

Zaronxpanol: Physiology is a difficult course with out job opportunities pls switch 2 simple courses like home economics make ur first class and ur life will be better ,Now adays in naija we dnt respect courses by their grammatical names but we respect d grades u graduate with ,a first class yoruba graduate is beta dan a 2nd class upper or lower physiology graduate dats if u are lucky 2get a 2nd class ,because most physiology graduate makes 3rd classcan you profile yourself Are you a graduate or a student? |

No course is useless, so to speak. There are a lot of people who have had cause to testify concerning our association with human anatomy and physiology; of which I am one. #smiling It would be appropriate to state here that "wisdom is profitable to direct". May our good Lord guide us. |

Am a graduate of physiology from Unilag and I believe I have some facts to share. Physiology has no prospect in Nigeria unless we want to deceive ourselves. The only way forward if you are thinking of progressing in physiology is to be a lecturer. Nothing more. If you don't see yourself becoming a lecturer of physiology it just better to switch to a different field entirely. I know quite a number of physiology graduates that are doing pretty well in other field and they are very happy with what they are doing. Taking myself as an example, am now a trade finance specialist with globally recognized certifications to back up what am doing after the department of physiology in my school wanted to frustrate my life as if I don't know jack. Lest I forget, if you have the opportunity of going out of the country, then you can do something meaningful with physiology certificate aside from lecturing. |

d truth is there for all to see,human anatomy or philosology is a total wash,for me,am newly admitted into dept of anatomy uniport,bt,i pray dat mayb switchin over to mbbs works,or i wil study wit anatomy,for two years,dn retake jamb,4 mbbs,atleast,is beta i sarifics 2yrs,i wil stil learn tins,dn start over again,jos 2 get my desired goal 1 Like |

Only if you want to truly deceive your lives, BMS is a huge joke. The labour market doesn't need you. What you ought to be doing are already being taken over by the doctors (MBBS holders). My advice for you is just to find your way out and branch out entirely. Only someone that doesn't want to see you succeed will tell you that there is hope in physiology or anatomy. These course are a total waste of time and its so ridiculous that those who failed to get admission into Medicine end up being dumped into physiology or anatomy where their fate is already sealed. If you want the best for your self in life, never study these things, its not worth the stress. Its a total waste of time and finance. I'm a living testimony, graduated with a good grade in physiology from one of the top universities in Nigeria but I just had to branch out entirely after lots of frustration. If you think BMS is your path to success, then sorry is your name. |
