We are planning to establish a Laptop business club starting from the Lagos axis. Others not in this axis may find it a bit difficult to participate for now.

Members of the club will be split into groups and each member of a group takes joint responsibility for the obligations of other members. We will provide a certain number of laptops and each group will share and sell,then each group will remit our funds to our accounts weekly and send us their reconciliation sheets. Our Lagos representative will meet with all members to fine tune how this will work.

If we send a 100 laptops for example, all members will apply for a share of these laptops and they will be distributed accordingly. There is NO FEE for joining the scheme.

Points will be awarded for the fastest sellers and laggards will also have points deducted. The points attained by each distributor will form the basis for approving the number of laptops and even discounts given to such members or if they can remain in the scheme.

Although members can vote out another member from their group as punitive action, they have a shared responsibility of ensuring their group members meet their obligations and are required to monitor and settle any outstanding of a group member that exceeds the tolerance date for payment. We would require 2 guarantors, proof of address or utility bill, business or personal account statement and ID’s of each member and their guarantors. An agreement will be executed individually and per group and this may form basis for group members to use law enforcement agencies or other legal means to recover any outstanding from the others as we will/may likewise extend this to the entire group and their guarantors if need be.
