Why not just request for your CSCS stocks statement?

Send an email to contact@cscs.ng with either your CSCS CHN or A/C number.

You'll be charged N538 for the service.

Carry out a global search with cscs through another stockbroker with your name and variations of your name you used with your old stockbroker(First Inland Securities & Asset Mgt Limited) to buy the shares.
This should find all the shares associated with your name in the Nigerian capital market including with multiple stockbrokers and registrars.

Such overtake is good for investors. If they overtake, UBA most likely go shake body and ie more money for investors. It's a win-win case for dividend-loving investors grin.

UBA tried with the 20k.....
I'd thought it would be lower than that self, like 0.17k with the rate those dumpers were dumping, BUT they've tried by maintaining the 20k. smiley

.....and yes, Fidelity is doing so well. smiley

With the dilution in the works for Fidelity, it will be tough to catch up with UBA interim div.

This private placement in the works will dilute Fidelity income and potential dividend.

Minor dilution naa. 3billion unit will be nothing if they continue with their current performance. The likes of UBA, GTB and Zenith would have been recording declining furtunes if not for the exchange rates issues in nigeria. If you convert their results to $ you realise that they have not been doing much for some years now.
The law of diminishing returns done catch them. On the other hand, fidelity has alot of space to grow

All being equal.
3billion is much but wont ccause a decline in eps or dividends, given the continious growth in profit.

There is also a drop in net assets for zenith and gtb too with gtb being the worst.
We need to look at this with an unbiased mind so we can get a better understand of the issue.

Can you please give us details of how the N40B comprehensive income came about in 2021
There's no point highlighting an item in isolation just to prove a point....... remember 2021 was a year that followed the COVID-19 year (2020) and a lot of changes took place, so detailing what brought about the difference would be good.

Why not also say something about the jump in PAT so you won't be making a partial judgement on the report.

Hope you'll consider other banks in this light as well.

In the meantime, dividend investors who believes in the bank should enjoy their interim Dividend......even when UBA sold for N5, some didn't still buy.

is UPDC a good option to buy now?
You have to answer why you want to buy in the first place and for what duration.
If you're considering buying for short time, I think you may have to consider other stocks instead.

While no one can accurately predict what could happen, I think UPDC is for long termers.......and if you plan to buy for long term, try and pick @N1 or below, with patience, you'll likely get at that price.

If your target is price appreciation only, then picking below 1.02 and waiting patiently could still be it.

GUINEA INSURANCE POSTS N1.34B GROSS PREMIUM INCOME
Guinea Insurance Plc recorded a gross premium income of N1.34 billion last year. But the previous year, it made N1.05 billion, which represents a 27.4 per increase.
The Chairman of the company, Ugochukwu Godson, broke the news at the firm’s 64th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Lagos. At the hybrid event, he said the net claims expenses in 2021 was N0.48billion, which is a 69.1 per cent improvement over the N1.55billion recorded in 2020, noting that this was due to efficient claims management. He stated that the company was returning to profitability as funds had been injected to strengthen its financial base and increase its capacity for transacting large-scale business deals.
The company’s Managing Director, and Chief Executive Officer, Ademola Abidogun, urged the company’s shareholders to see the positive aspects of the upcoming changes. He said: “With the injection of additional capital,” he said: “Our company is well positioned to attract and transact larger portions of new businesses. “It is undeniable that consumers are shifting and favouring simplicity more than ever before; as a result, our investment roadmap in technology and digital transformation is motivated by the need to give customers the freedom to purchase reliable insurance products without any geographical restrictions.” He stated that the company had made efforts to keep management costs to a minimum, obtain regulatory approval for the underwriting of agricultural insurance, and reduce operating expenses.
