i stocked my pond with juveline on thursday 13-12-2012 and as i'm writing this message more than 50 has died. some were killed by others while some died and float. what noticed was that they were not eating as expected and they do gasp/float orizontal. please what is the problem with them |

What is the size of ur pond,maybe you over stock the pond,or you are over feeding them,the oxygen level in the pond might be low,did you also fertilise your pond before stocking? |

Its expected from ur initial seeding for most of the catch to die (if that was ur first time stocking). Poisons from d building material can kill them. Did u lime ur pond and allow algae n phytoplankton grow for a while before stocking? |
