Thanks for your insightful response. To be candid, at this stage, i am really not decided on any niche to stay in Biochemistry. I am somewhat objective now and willing to take any course whatsoever provided it will be worthwile in the long run. The problem now is that Biochemistry is at an incipient stage in Nigeria and as such one can not really point out any difned route for a fresh graduate of Biochemistry that why folks like you who have traded this path is needed to put us through. In a nutshell Food Biochemistry, Industrial Biochemistry, Pharmacology, i really dont know what future they hold for one in the long run. Please will you be kind to expatiate? Thanks once again.

Wow! Priceless thread! Plz GREAT EMINENTS we(fellow Eminents) need more of ur comments.
Some of us studying this course are still confused(dnt really knw wat we r studying but doing dat cus uncle, auntie, friend, daddy, mummy said is a nice course).
Now that God has given us the opportunity to clear our minds, learn more and fully understand biochemistry, lets not throw it away.

God bless the OP for creating this thread, bless my Asha201 for giving me the opportunity to access the internet(even though im praying for a new phone), bless the heavy rain for making me unable to go to school this morning thereby making it possible for me to visit nairaland, bless nairaland for being there for me, bless the person that introduced me to nairaland,

And finally, bless the mode that will put this trd in frontpage and my fellow nairalanders.

@lizmovic, work harder. I graduated from unilorin and discovered that 1st semester 300l was the hardest, that's when my gp dropped from 2.1 to 2.2 but at d end i'm still proud to be a metabolite. Believe in urself and know that u can make it. Best of luck!
