This is very unlikely but not unusual. Results are normally released like a week b4 xmas. At least for the past 3years it has been that way. Believe they'll release it soon, probably next week.

I suspect that the moment TCI centres begin to send messages, it will mean the result is almost out. They seem to have fore knowledge.

Is never over until is over. No matter what, we must keep d gud fight. We can

ICAN isn't helping students prepare well for the subsequent diet with this their outrageous attitude of delaying results! A lot of us can't move on without the results since we are not sure we are qualified to do so. Lectures commenced on a serious note in all tuition centres about 3 weeks ago. That's a good time to start given the bulky syllabus. Unfortunately, delayed results is keeping most of us on the fence.
They(ICAN) need to do more towards ensuring prompt release of results. Albeit, this recent delay may be connected to the review of some papers due to mass failure. I strongly believe that such contingencies should be factored into the 6 weeks waiting period if this expected time period has been ICAN's position all along.
Perhaps, its a tactics employed to increase failure rate in May 2013 diet; and by implication, more money for the institute. Yes; anything is possible in Nigeria.
ACCA stated that the results of their December 2012 exams would be released by February 8, 2013. This is very good for the nerves and preparations of their students for the subsequent diet. Why is ICAN not doing the same? We cannot rule out the possibility severe malpractices on the part of ICAN top executives to explain annoying delays such as we are experiencing with November 2012 exams.

@Sesko ICAN results have a duration of 6 to 8 weeks to be released. If you check ur calendar well, you'll discover we're still within the duration. Your accusations abt possible malpractices by ICAN top executive are baseless, you don't even know these people. The integrity of the ICAN exams process cannot in anyway be compromised. And i'm sure you know that already.
ICAN will not encourage failure either. If you do well in your exam, you'll surely pass. If you so love Acca, the way they're 'organised', why don't you just start writing Acca instead.

you have nothing to loose by starting while you're waiting for ur PE1 results.

I think we ICAN students shd send a comprehensive mail about this particular issue... Could u believe that november 2011 results was released on 19th jan 2012 the same thing apponding nw meaning that no form of improvemt.... Now that am typing, am inside a bus heading 2 STARRY GOLD 2 purchase 4 E-lecture video 4 pe1 whn i hv nt yet sure of my intermediate results.. Ok, let jst do this math together, If truly ICAN wil bring out results nxt weeks meaning we hv jst 3mths and few days 2 d next exam may diet.. Can someone that is working cover up all pe1 courses within 3mths.. ACCA has populatn of up to 500,000 worldwide but it takes them exactly 8wks 2 release results but ican dat jst hv less than 100,000 tak them 8wks.. They shd employ more manpower.. Truly they are nt execising any professionalism but they are profesnal bdy..

I'm not in anyway suggesting that the delay is justified but we should stop comparing ICAN with Acca. We all know how much Acca charges just for only subscription. It's still within 8weeks. We should learn to support our own.

well ubderstood, but dey need to step up. the only way to knw if u r doin fine is wen pple run criticism of ur job either +ve or -ve. so ican need to step up.

at a point in time dey released dr result with a month or 6wks, they can still go back to dat, i learnt d new ican president den stopped it,

Guys the most important thing is not the duration it takes for the result to come out,but the final outcome of the result,jst pray and be patient,and let the institute do its thing,jst hope whatever happens it will end in your favour.although there is tension,but the result will be out before you know it

Is it true that ican has stopped automatic qualification of foreign professionals? I read somewhere that they will be required to sit for certain exams. Does this include ACCA?
