About 5 weeks ago one of my post was hidden and I was banned for few hours. Owing to the fact that I know that there was nothing absurd about my comment, I was very angry and decided to express my displeasure in form of a complain. A moderator apologized and told ♍ƺ that pyguru is not a moderator but a Spambot. Today similar incidence has occurred, my post was hidden and I was banned for an hour. Here is the message I got

The questions I would like to ask are
- Who is Pyguru?
- What is Nairaland doing about the masked masquerade - pyguru- who ban people without any reason?
- Am I the only one with similar complain of being banned by pyguru?

I have also been banned by this pyguru several times for no just cause. Its highly annoying and degrading.
I even wanted to start similar thread on this and was very happy when I saw the Op's post.
It's highly embarassing and degrading to Nairaland as a whole. Is pyguru winning the battle against nairaland? Very soon pyguru will take over nairaland and share user's confidential profile informations.
What is Nairaland doing about this? And what are all the webmasters, programmers and moderators of Nairaland doing to curb this menace?

Easy on the cusses, pyguru is not human . Its a robot that attacks posts it precieves as spam. Sometimes it gets it wrong and even mods are not immune to it. Believe it or not, a lot of people would've fallen victim to scammers if not for it.
