Dr. Muiz Banire, Lagos State commissioner for the environment, is threatening to arrest people in their bedrooms if they don’t personally partake in the sanitation exercise. Its most disappointing when a supposed educated man, (it may be a honorary degree) has clearly overstepped the parameters of his office and the law,behaving like a garage agbero and or area boy. This is official lawlessness, this guy should be called to order and asked to resign.

My view is that this commissioner lacks vision, knowledge and therefore application look at the mess he created with BRT, i have no idea about his level of integrity and would not be surprised if his motivations are embedded in self enrichment and corruption.

Where are the lawyers in the House this is Ultra Vires, sue this guy for human rights infringement and conduct causing public disorder, or whatever you can find.

Go read the Nigerian constitution as ammended by the senate, Soludo did not formulate any law he is merely encouraging adherence to an existing law. Senate made the law not CBN, as the later has no loco standi to do so.
