You shouldn't bother yourself about that.

All you should do is ensure you've cleared all your courses, done your clearance, liaise with your student affairs department to obtain your JAMB registration number if you don't have...once you do all these, the issue of the quota system of your faculty and department wouldn't come up neither would it change the time of your service, cos you will be mobilized along with your fellow colleagues.

Your duty should is to ensure that you're not the one holding yourself from service, so must be right on time for every activity. Those that don't make it to service along with their colleagues are those with one problem or the other...problems ranging from JAMB registration numbers to their inability to fully complete their clearance...etc. The quota system would only affect you if you fall into this category. Hope I answered your question.
