Muson center offers a flexible hr based schedule,meaning you can go once a week,on any day of your choice.the classes are affordable,and you can pick cheap musical equipments to start with,like i said earlier,great networking.If muson is too grandiose,ask your instrumentalists in church for a good tutor on any instrument of your choice.

Language Classes
lots of language classes exist in lagos,french german,spanish etc,...alliance francaise with offices in ikeja,yaba,and badagry are about the most popular,they also run flexible schedules to accomodate working class citizens...you never know when a new language will come in handy..

Social Dancing
social dancing is here to stay!...salsa,cha cha,bachetta,line dances etc.Social dancing is a great form of excercise,especially if you live a sedentary life style,and that includes most desk workers.You cant leave a dance class depressed,dance gives a natural high try dance office, anthony ikeja,awolowo rd ikoyi,and I hear theres one in surulere.

Golf
most golf courses allow non members use their course for a small fee.If u can pay a little extra,you get a professional tutor.and yes you can do one lesson a month very cheap this way, practise the rest on ur own @ home or @work.you can get a golf kit for less than $200 dollars.

plan a road trip
how many people have left lagos on a tourist trip? visiting family does not count.
so go rock climbing olumo rock Abeokuta, Isamuni hill ogun state,Idanre hill ondo state. Visit ikogosi warm springs,mambilla hills taraba, obudu ranch.Book a weekend with friends outside lagos while you visit, there're way cheaper than lagos hotels,(except obudu)you get to ave a memmorable trip.

cant leave lagos?try the national museum for nigerian history and culture, terrakulture and onikan theatre for stage plays and exhibitions, beaches abound, Fancy resturants, take your pick.

Volunteer!
A great way to spend time,and give to society.from orphanages to NGO's the list of potential volunteer places is long,a google search will show.
