I'm an avid gamer and a die hard Fifa fan(no disrespect to pes guys but ermm ur game sucks tho) but there comes a time when u feel ur super gaming powers are too much for the people around you and you just wanna devour more people around the world but damn.......you can't jst get a good internet connection with a generous bandwith to take your gaming experience to another level. Now has anyone here played online games here in nigeria(by online games I mean mad games like fifa 13 nd d rest not some silly board game played over d internet) and if any one has please brief us on how u did it and the ISP u used.............thanks

yea, used to play quake live & unreal tournament, loads of fun, best part of online play is u learn new moves nd tips by watching others, esp the mad pros, even recorded sum games. Anyways it all boils down to ur ping, which is the speed at which ur pc communicates wit their server, d lower ur ping, d faster ur connection nd d smoother ur gameplay experience, u really dont need any special connection, swift or anytin better will do, i actuall used to play online wit starcomms till outrageously high pings made me eat my modem

Lol..........I think swift wld be a wise choice buh ma major fear is BANDWITH!!!! I don't wanna subscribe for say a month with 6gb bandwith and end up blowing it in 2 days of online play.

Well 6gb should take u half a month, maybe more. but it still depends on the kind of online game. All games with online play are divided into two parts, the client which u install on ur computer, nd the server which holds additional data, account info, game statistics, player input tracking nd stuff e.g for FIFA or StreetFighter, the whole game is already on ur harddrive so u wont need much bandwith for play, unless ur playing on a new stadium or with new kits dat didnt come installed, those will automatically download from the server, and u only need to do it once, u can decide not to in sum cases, in which u wont see the new stuff saving u some data, eg in quake arena, u have to download new maps from the server to play on them with others but but can decide not to allow automatic download of extra textures like new player models or gun models, in this case the game will just use d default.
I suggest u run a test wit ur first 6gb nd see how much data u use per day & on which game. Masssive multiplayer rpgs like World of warcraft wit tons of stuff to track nd update r bad news.
Yes lest i forget, lowering ur resoultion nd graphics settings also helps for smoother online play
