chima12: Jonas Savimbi was the face of the south sudan struggle for independence,he died as a sudanese but south sudan is independent today.Biafra actualization is not about an individual,it is about a people and their aspirations and convictions.

No sir, Jona Savimbi was not a Sudanese. Jonas Savimbi was a guerilla fighter from Angola where he led the UNITA rebels against Angolan authorities. He was killed at the war front in his birth place of Moxico while fighting Angolan government troops! grin

My error.John Garang was the south sudan rebel leader who died in a helicopter crash before South Sudan gained independence.

rotfl. nice catch there

I actually blame Nigeria for this stupidity. First, Ojukwu and his biafran groupies ought to have been tried and sentenced to jail but they weren't. Then secondly, our foolish govt, in an attempt to placate easterners went and gave him a state burial.
Another one is the whole stupid amnesty thing with MEND and now Boko Haram.
I mean, these stupid groups' (MASSOB, BOKO HARAM, MEND etc) mere existence is illegal. Isn't sedition supposed to be a crime?

You kidnap and kill yourselves for money, now it's hiding under some masob BS to perpetrate aggravated extortion, organized crime and racketeering.

This is one aimless and troubled society, a totally broken down society without any adult with common sense and wisdom, a society with no respect and value for human life, a society where constant quest for money determine who lives and dies.

smh...............

Anyway, Massob. If your tax is meant of right reasons, go for it. I'm okay with it. As long as it goes in the development of Igboland, segregation out of Nigeria, etc

Any update on this?
