Winning over your boss may seem like
a herculean task but it is so easy, at
least experts say so. Here are few tips
on how to win your boss over to your
side.

Do your job, and do it well. That seems
obvious, right? But a lot of people fail to accomplish simple tasks that are
required of them. Bosses love diligent
workers, employees who work
efficiently, effectively and professionally. Bosses delight in these
sets of people because they allow their
managers to focus on critical issues
within the organisation. Note that, the
less your boss has to focus on you
accomplishing your daily tasks, the
more they can focus on accomplishing
theirs.

Know your boss. Take your time to know the kind of boss you have and take the initiative to work according. Doing this will make the job easier for the two of you

Be loyal. Be dedicated and honest
employee, always. That will work for
you in the long run. Make sure you
don’t talk about your boss with your
colleagues and if you were in the habit
of doing so, stop. Don’t disrespect your boss, ever. Even if you have a
misunderstanding with them, sit down
and sort it out with them. A lack will
severely damage the relationship and
will probably destroy your career.

Take the initiative with projects and
assignments. Volunteer to take on new
projects and at the same time, don’t
overload yourself. Try to think of
valuable projects or assignments that
you can start and complete without
much supervision or guidance from
your boss. He will impress with you if
you do.

Don’t rely on your boss to fix
everything. When there’s a problem,
don’t just point it out; find a way to fix
it. You may not have all the answers but the fact that you offered to help and made fruitful contribution is enough to endear you to your boss’ heart.
