HYSYS COURSE OUTLINE DETAIL

HYSYS ASSOCIATE ( Module 1)
 Introduction to wellhead and production platforms with practical examples in on-shore, shallow waters and deep off-shore platforms.
 Process design of well head platforms and full design analysys and working  mechanism of the following:
• The reservoir and the wellhead
• Process valves and fittings
• Production headers
• Test headers
• Blowdown headers
• Test separators and separator systems
• FPSO
Understanding the concept of simulation and makers of simulators.
• Understanding the HYSYS interface.
• Populating the HYSYS simulation basis manager.
• Understanding the flash calculation and fluid property analysis.
• Simulation of gas,liquid and two phase systems.

HYSYS EXPERT (Module 2)
HYSYS Expert is packaged to reflect the industrial needs,therefore HYSYS Associate is a prerequisite to HYSYS Expert.In addition to the training attained as an Associate,the following course areas will be thoroghly covered in this module.
1. Understanding the use of HYSYS in the following utility:
• Piping and pipeline sizing
• Pressure drop prediction on pipelines
• Hydrates formation in pipelines and piping systems via a hydrate prediction   studies
2. Hands-On Practical Class On Real Projects:
The projects will be carried out by the Trainee at the supervision of the Trainer.
The projects will include real life project and will include but not limited to these:
3. Topside Wellhead facility mechanical units design and modeling using HYSYS.
These units  include:
• Wellhead and flow line
• Test Separator
• Production/Test and Blow down Manifold
• Departing Pipeline design with introduction to Launchers and Receivers design.
4.Compression platform facility design and modeling with HYSYS:
• Compressor sizing and rating.
• Heat exchanger units
• Pump rating and sizing.
• Heaters and coolers specifications.

HYSYS PROFESSIONAL (Module 3).
HYSYS professional is ultimately and comprehensively designed for clients that aim to achieve optimum performance in process design. It goes beyond software knowledge to real practical mastery of process simulation modeling and design. It is a harmonization point between software know-how and practical experience.
HYSYS Expert (Module 2) is a prerequisite for HYSYS Professional (Module 3).

Introduction To Process Engineering.
Introduction to process documentation; Piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) and Process flow diagram (PFD).
Application of international design standards API documents and clients global design codes and procedures.

Hydraulic Spreadsheet Calculation/ Development.
• Development of hydraulic spreadsheets pipelines, PSV’s etc
• Sizing pipeline on developed spreadsheet for single and two phase systems
• Pipeline validation for brown field jobs.
• Blow down operation via depressurization studies and sizing blow down headers.

You guys are doing a great job,my cousin will be joining the training pretty soon cos this hysys is the major chunk of the tool he needs in his masters program, im interested in the PDMS cos i was dropped in my last interview cos of lack of knowledge in the software.i didn't realize how important it was till the situation occurred.can u please inform me of the program or is it ongoing too? pls treat as ASAP
