If this was a march against subsidy removal, then maybe we would have one or two dead bodies by now. This is so disgraceful if true.

even murderous tyrants like Assad and Gadaffi had part of their oppressed people protest in favor of them to continue to feed their insatiable lust for power and remain in power like kings perpetually; Abacha had 2 million nigerians (who all later flooded the street to celebrate his demise) march for him, this included highly regarded celebrities like onyeka onwenu smh...this is why its next to impossible for 3rd world countries to move forward; a failed system where bribery and corruption is the norm...their leaders intentionally keep the impoverished masses where they are so that they can continue to use dem for their own ends like these mumus in this pics

This is exactly what happens when the middle-class act as if they are less concerned with what happens in the country.

Instead of us hitting the streets to demand that Farouk, Maina and others be brought to justice, the government is staging a protest to support her corruption.

By the way, these dudes dont look like they know that they are protesting about. undecided

In Nigeria, na government they protest. Na wa ooo. embarassed

Frawzey
.
I too wonder why Wole Soyinka has not come out to lend his voice to the more important issue of demanding that Farouk Lawan, Maina and the openely corrupt governors should be brought to book! Instead he chose his usual way of playing the Ostrich.
.
He definitely does not have the moral ground to criticise anybody when he failed so woefully in his management of the FRSC; the only assignment he has ever been given by govt to apply his assumed high intellect to the management of the entity called Nigeria?!

This just reminds me of when the EFCC came into rivers state to investigate how governour ameachi was spending the states money since some inconsistencies where turning up. Massive protest were organised with youth demanding the EFCC leaves the state. Now today they are the same one asking what ameachi has done with rivers peoples money to the point he says the state is broke. Nigeria's problem is not the leaders alone. GO BUY A MIRROR!!!!

This is the most foolish posts and senseless responses i have seen on Nairaland in recent times.

For once can't we go beyond the headline and look critically.

I challenge all those who have been typing rubbish since morning to show me where in this pictures and demonstration can you see solidarity for 4billion builiding project or Patience Jonathan.

For all you care, we have no idea of what this is all about.

Stop all this laziness, read and observe before responding to moronic posts in a moronic manner. Smhhhh.

Lazy minds who can not think except any media headline manipulations. There is still no hope in 2015 because if we use this mind to elect our next leader, Nigeria will be worse for it.

What i mean is that there is level of curruption to be measure by regions.
If Jona region doesnt belong to this class of curuption, there wont be staging of protest in support of anti people project. This show the worth of the president when it come to curruption, and his family wont say anything because is truely reflecting what they stand for.
hope i open your eyes.
So my take is dt u are frm d North or SW. Let tell u dt u are a silly idiot. So u were not in d country wen Abacha and OBJ did exactly dis abi. And now GEJ is and his SS/SE are nw more corrupt and as such wont taste power again abi? U are a silly yoruba idiot I suppose. FYI, d level of enlightenment in d SS and SE has increased and much sooner than u can imagin, we will break d country so dt u yorubas wil b on ur own and rule urselves ok? i jst feel like shedding tears. Ignorance, poverty and sheer stupidity is really the worst disease that can afflict the human mind.
For not more than N1,000 per person, mothers, sons and fathers had sold their power to a few self serving leaders.

Later these same mothers will fill up the church searching for miracles and still give up that same N1, 000 to their spiritual leaders.

I'm so heart broken at the youths among those demonstrators. How much jobs were they promised? How much were they given?
I just imagine how Madam GEJ will be patting the organisers on the back, the already known consultants and contractors smacking their lips and champagne that's been popped why the stupid masses are once again taken for a ride.
The middle class and the poor masses truly failed Nigeria, not also excluding the Diasporans that came back and also became masters at the art of corruption.

What dignity ? Propaganda dignity ? You have learnt the act of lies and deception. How come only you saw the the 4billion project bill board. Potential criminal.

In addition, Please read my challenge and respond. That GEJ and his team are clueless is not enough reason to support lies and propaganda from any quarters.

I am not here to exchange words with you but to argue out fact and logic. The challenge remains. Show me where in that picture, what showed you that they gathered to support 4Billion Naira builiding project.

Till then, please shut up for now.
