very well said my dear NL'er. The 666 is one of the most debateable issues in the bible. You have said according to what best you know. Good job i must say. But the truth of the matter is, thats not the mark of the beast. The mark of the beast is a human number as declared in the bible represented by the number '6'. The mark of the beast is not a literal mark as widely believed. The bible siad in one part. 'ye have heard that the antichrist will come, know assuredly that he is already in the world'. God told the children of isreal to observe the day of their deliverance and it should be for a perpertual sign between their eyes(forehead) and on their righthand. We cant find any mark on the children of isreal today. That sign actually is our deeds and our actions and not actually some literal markings as christaindom believes today. But ask yourself ( God forbid) if you are alive at that time, will you give your self to be marked?. This is just a gimmick by the devil to decieve people. The antichrist will rise from the church.
