1. ALWAYS HOLD A REMOTE CONTROL. You would be sorry if you don't have one or if you are watching from a satellite or local TV. You need a remote to take out the adverts before the film(although you wont see adverts on the ones viewed on satellite and local TV), and to remove all the time-wasting scenes.

2. MAKE SURE THE VOLUME IS REDUCED BEFORE IT STARTS. If its very late you can wake up the whole street with what is supposed to be a normal TV volume. The adverts come with a harsh thundering noise, you should be prepared for that.

3. BE READY TO INSERT A NEW DISK EVERY 25 MINUTES. Don't just relax on you seat with your popcorn and expect a two hour entertainment. Each part of the movie which is usually one disk these days last for about 25 minutes, after you must have remove the adverts. Advert may take 35 minutes while movie proper will take 25 minutes. And don't be alarmed when the same adverts are repeated in part 1,2,3and 4 of the movie, just fast forward, that's why you need a remote.

4. DON'T EXPECT A FAMILY TO HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHILD. For example Mr A's family is forcing their daughter to marry Mr B's son, all through the movie these two will be the only children from both families even though you now that Nigerian families try to always have more than one child.

5. FOLLOW THE SOUND TRACKS. Don't beat your head about whats to happen, once you hear the movie soundtracks then you know whats cooking. If Emeka is going to be a useless man in the script, them from the beginning of the movie you hear lyrics from the soundtrack that says Emeka is a stupid man. so what else?

6. MAJOR SIGNS. These are some repeating scenes you should be used to at least to know whats to come. (a) If someone spends too much time on the road, with a chilly sound on the background you should know he/she is gonna be hit by a car. (b) if anyone goes mad,(they usually do) expect the see him/her on the streets overdressed with a lot of energy(most mad people I've seen are usually quite) with passerby's looking at his performance and hiding their smiles when they were supposed to be minding their business. (c) "A toad does not run in the daytime" once you hear that, just expect a tensed meeting.

These are just some of it, happy viewing
