How often do you get your eyebrows done - thin or thick?

I've been threading my brows for years until last weekend. A friend urged me to give waxing a try. It hurt like crazy that I got serious migraines afterwards. Never again! I get compliments on my brows for its thickness. This hurt my feelings real bad!

I thread. But haven't done it in weeks. So my brows have grown out. Last Sunday I used ck gold eye shadow to define my brows. Worked like magic.

I pluck once in a month,and shape once a week, works fine for me! Threaded only 2ice in my life, I get that done wen I travel! Never waxed before! Not sure I'll do that!

I like threading cos' it looks natural for my full brows even after filling it with eyebrow powder or pencil (Dk brwn). All skills from youtube.

Hi Vivacious vivi, to answer you question: threading is an ancient method of hair removal which originated from the eastern world, but of course everyone else has adopted threading.The technique involves doubling the specially designed cotton thread, then twisting to remove follicles of hair. it lasts about 3-5 mins per brow, and in my opinion, it stings!

@ vivacious vivi, threading stings for first timers but after a while u get used to it. You do not have to worry about regrowths for 2-3weeks. If u live in the uk, it is cheaper than waxing. At Upton park it is done for £2 and there are no special threads used just the normal sewing thread.you could argue that the Asians do it best. Wherever u live, if the cost of threading breaks the bank then it's not worth it.

Therez one place my sister used to thread her eyebrows in V.I. They opened last yr and the girl there is very good and cheap. No 10 Balarabe Musa crescent of Samuel Manuwa street. ive never patronized dem sha but she does it for my sister very nicely shaped. I started threading dis year n its last longer for just $7 in indian saloons.

Done all, and threading is the bomb. The hair doesn't grow back as much, and overtime the need to rethread reduces. Just make sure you have the thickness and the shape desired. Mine is so onpoint, it almost seems like i tattooed the eyebrow. . Of course you need a good, tried and tested threader. Otherwise, you are on your own. It is an art, and you really really dont want anyone messing up your eyebrows.

I'm never waxing my eyebrows! That will be too painful for me.

How this wan take concern me na

Waxing for me. Though it hurts, I feel the pain is much less compared to threading. The last time I threaded my eyebrow, I couldn't control the tears that came out of my eyes continuously. Waxing is done in a couple of minutes too. I tweeze my brows myself in between waxing (ie before going for my next waxing appt)
