The campaign posters of Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido and governor of Rivers State, Chibuike Amaechi, have flooded the streets of Kaduna ahead of the 2015 presidential elections.

The posters bearing the two governors’ photographs, with Governor Lamido as president and Governor Amaechi as his running mate, were seen at the popular Stadium and Station Roundabout in Kaduna North and South Local Government Areas within the metropolis on Monday.

Although both governors at different occasions denied rumours of their perceived 2015 ambitions, the absence of Governor Lamido at last Saturday’s reconciliatory meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kaduna, which had Vice President Namadi Sambo in attendance, has fueled the rumour.

However, when contacted, the press secretary to Governor Lamido, Mallam Umar Kyari said he was not in the best position to comment on the matter and referred our correspondent to the state PDP chairman.

This is coming barely two days after the Bamanga Tukur-led National Working Committee of the PDP held its reconciliatory meeting in the North West zone. Besides Governor Lamido, Governors Magatakarda Wammakko of Sokoto and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano States were also absent from the meeting.

It all started in this year by our president when he denied the posters of himself contesting in 2015 that were pasted everywhere in abuja on the 1st of january.

Amaechi has cum out t deny knowledge of d posters. All this hide n seek games being played by these politicians is unnecessary n only serves t heat up an already restless polity.
Ameach,, as he rightly said before, reserves d right t /not to contest, so y d dancing around..
Also, it does look somehow f a southern governor t b v.p t a northerner wen a southerner is at d seat of power..after all d agitations. This in itself might work against Ameachi esp now his approval rating is not at it's peak.
Personally don't care either way, it's all about d best candidate

Stop making assumptions!

It is only those who have not been to Jigawa under Lamido or Rivers under Rotomi that can fault the progressive and developmental force in those two individual.
Point is not if they can achieve greater things together rather if the forces of darkness that has held us bondage for ages will let them

Lamido former Nigerian foreing affairs minister and presently Governor, Ameachi former speaker (Rivers state house of assembly) and currently a Governor. Need I say more? Nw who is most positioned to be president and who shld be vice?
