lizu: the aspect of iya eleja unrinating around your pond and causing some problems that will have to force you to call them back to buy the fish....all na wash....i run my farm on a 2 and half acre of land in agbara, ogun state...and am doing fine...., i use a concrete pond as well, but you see our people, dont let us leave leprosy and be curing ringworm....this is nigeria, we have so many difficulty in this country and by so doing we can only work with all we have around us to survive...robonsky has tried but i expect people here to discuss the reason why the bizness is not working and what can be done to make it work...we have different issues that are very important to talk about and carry the intending farmers along so that they will not end up loosing their money too...things like
1. the pond...aw its bn built, the deepness and its advantages
2.water....its management and its advantages
3.feed...types of feed
4.mode of feeding
5.duration of time...speculated time for the whole rearing that wont surpass the planned money to be used
6.market...when to market and how
e.t.c...
for anyone coming into this bizness, there are more to learn than just reading....you need practical seeing as well, as you start up your farm, new things comes your way...cause you get to meet new challenges, then you meet experts for advice and guidlines. i wish everyone here the best of luck in all our endeavours...lets feel free to ask questions here...its called a forum

I Spoke about my experience when I started the business of how dis market women are extorting some fish farmers till date and u are telling me "all na wash" I will take it as an insult.. If u run your farm on a 2 and half plot of land who bloody cares..

All the topics u listed have been covered by me and the gurus in the house we have discussed all extensively and intensively on all the topics.. I doubt if u are a follower of the thread from day one as u claimed.. Have we been talking gibberish abt catfish till presently 56 pages... We have talked abt ways to improve and make profit in this business..

I gave my all to this thread so other gurus in the house..U better pull ur skirt down and calm down and add ur own input rather than spewing trash

u can use both if u choose, not to add to prodn cost, a litre size livestovit can be used as much as 7-10 times, it is a multivitamin,an antistress,aquapro is also a multivitamin & fights diseases also, can use it i.e. D satchet 5 times,saves cost. Apply when u first change water/when u stress them/want them to eat more.feed them, u dont only give drugs oh

No, i had same suspicion. @Lizu: 99% of what u said has been discussed and thats a fact! For Mr. Excelsior and Robonski to react on dis matter like this..........u crossed d line. These guys(ab1x inclusive) gave me help freely and even calld me wit deir own credit, just to help a brother and it worked for me. What else do u want them to do?? I greet the house, i normally dont get involve in these sort of issue but on this case Please Oga Robonski and the house let accept Oga Lizu apology please, i will also personally watapps Oga Robonski to please accept the apology. Like someone mentioned earlier this is a forum and its for sharing information not for castigating contributors and just because someone is not doing it the way you are doing it does not mean they are wrong.
So if you tried something and it worked, i mean not just once, if you tried it and it has continued to work then feel free to share your method here freely if you like. In the developed world when they discover a cure for something it can take up to 5 to 10 years before it is available to the general public because they have to be sure its working on a consistent basis- thats why everytime you buy paracetamol its the same formula and fomulated to produce the same result- in summary its call tried and tested.
On this note can i suggest something we start putting up pictorial evidence, both negetive and positive, for instance if you notice your fish is turning whitish, post a photograph of a sample so we can all see exactly what you are talking about and hopefully you would also benefit from targeted advice- someone will see it and say OH! this happened to my fish last year or 6 month ago and i did this and this and within 2 days it solved the problem. Next time someone post something similar we can say it look excatly like what was posted in page 40 so try what was done in page 40 and hopefully you would get the same result, same thing if you tried a formula and most of your fishes achieved 2-2.5kg weight dont just say it, put up a picture and detailed exactly what you did DIFFERENTLY to attain the result. We saw photographs of Oga Robonski consulting in some farm and also posted photograph of an extremely big fish that was as a result of not sorting.
Its just a suggestion, i dont have a farm but when i start, from the building of the pond to the first juvenile i intend to post photographs if the house dont mind so i can be corrected, adviced on anything that is being shown.

The formular is 100KG. TS means Toasted Soya, DCP _ sorry I don't know d meaning but it is meant to make d fish agile and give them strong bone. The biscuit is the normal biscuit we eat but the one they use at the feedmill is the industrial one. I mean, waste from the factory but I see guys working at the feedmill eating it. For how long they will consume 100KG depends on ur fish eating habit

0.3 is the deadliest feed if u don't use it with caution.. Its high in fibre which results in its spreading rapidly in the pond which pollutes the water which reduces dissolve oxygen... U have to be very careful when feeding with 0.3 give them a little at intervals.. Feed the fish not the pond..

Honestly I don't know how to recognise a fake coppens maybe beacuse I don't use it anymore... Some years back I once bought a fake of it that cost me my entire juvenile.. Its preferable u buy from a distributor directly than sublets..

those bro that we come from same country are always perfecting counterfeit,hence since u aint buying bags,go to reputable distributor,but what many fail to know is this feed are brought in low quantity & easily expire,hence many buy expired feeds.it is wise to check label of open ones,also if u can afford it,buy d plastics or sealed bag of 5Kg.i use raanan.n
