Interview With Olayinka Oladele: Nigeria's Youngest Blogger by princemolak(m): 11:10am On Apr 13, 2013 |
Another great interview segment here with Olayinka Oladele and am pretty sure you will enjoy and learn from him. The first and only time I met Olayinka Oladele was around this time last year In Ibadan,Nigeria, we spoke for about an hour and from his outlook, you can tell That he’s destined to be great. During the course of our discussion, a funny incident happened which I wouldn’t like to say, but he explained it here On His blog that very Day, it was this incident that made me Know that Olayinka Oladele was blogging because of the passion he had for it and not because of Money . And as I always say “ When You have passion for something, then Surely, Money will come chasing Him. Here is the Interview with Him Can you please introduce Your Self to Our Readers? My name is Olayinka Oladele, a sweet 17 who is currently studying in Computer Science in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. What inspired you to The Journey Of making Money Online Well, I had a friend who was a ready-to-be-pro blogger and he pushed me into the world of blogging. Later I got jealous and wanted to be my own boss (Like a pro-blogger myself) and to get people to serve for at least a token in return. My real inspiration came from those who had been there already while I was not yet weaned in the money making community; I realized there are people who make the internet their office and get paid as well. I was able to make friends with Internet Money Makers and joined different groups in the niche to see where exactly I’ll fit-in. The saying “Catch them young” popped into some who saw the zeal in me and they were able to guide me until I was weaned and saw the goldmine. I started as a blogger who sacrificed so much for the career; hearing my blogging mentors mention their monthly income from their blogs would wow me and serve as an encouraging factor as well. I could say, what actually inspired me in this journey was envy. What were the greatest hurdles You faced In your Quest to make Money Online: Hmmm… Hurdles you say; As a teenager, mummy would lay claws on my tender skin due to the fact that I spend too much time on the internet. You know, reporting me to her friends is just another ugly thing that happened when I was still on the verge of making money online (I’ve not started making the big bucks yet though *grins*). Everybody wanted to see the results of what keeps me online 24-hours daily. I used to sneak to access the internet so as to avoid choking words directed at me. Thankfully, mum gave me understanding afterall and “this geared me up.” If at all no one was going to encourage me, as far as my mum gave me the support; I neglected the high internet bills, low turn-out to whatever I ventured in and other challenges I can’t remember now. I was a very rough race, I must say! Will you mind explaining to us In details How exactly you have been making Money Online: I talked about blogging earlier…. I’ve made myself some cool e-presence and cash too via this wonderful but tedious medium. My blogs serve as a platform for advert programs to run which earn me some money on the long run. That’s just a tit-bit, People actually pay me to design blogs and generally do internet stuffs for a token. Okay let me list some: I do stuffs like love-vendor a blog, help grow audience for brands and businesses, buy domain names, sell unique information…… I tell you, the token counts; I do this a lot so an accumulation of those ‘small changes’ actually fetch me profit enough to replace twice as much as I’ve spent for the week or month as the case may be. Bottom line- I do freelance and blogging to top-up my bank account. And on An average How Much do you make Monthly Looking at the objective of this question, what I’d say is that, the harder and more efficient I work, the more I earn. I cannot really state how much I make monthly; not even with a scale. What Advice do you have for those who are still struggling to make Money Online: A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others – Ayn Rand. Congrats to olayinka the young blogger. It's always good to appreciate a good thing and not batter over it. Anything worth doing is worth doing well. When I started my jokes / humor blog www.buzzynaija.com in 2009, i was just 16 years old. But right now, i can tell you i'm seriously making it with that blog and others too. You can check it out if you want. So let's appreciate the young blogger and give him the necessary supports. Once again, kudos to you bros. Keep it up n dont get discouraged !!! |

He might not be the youngest but he is young. So, please pardon the author of this thread for the error. Olayinka just keep it up, and keep enjoying all the benefits attached to blogging. For other younger bloggers, I happy for you that you are actually doing a legitimate business. For older bloggers, please don't beef. 1 Like |

I don't know why people like hating on successful people. Olayinka is a hardworking and dedicated blogger and internet marketer. For those saying they are younger than he is, who knows you as a blogger?? Also if you do not know, owning a site doesn't make you a blogger. Most of you saying you are bloggers are just Copy and Paste Experts. Ameh Ryo Lucazzy #Repping BloggersLab and Arsenal Territory. 1 Like |

Didn't really expect this to come out large. Thanks @prince for the recognition. Meeting you was fun. Everyother person who gave me kind words, I appreciate. You're wonderful people. For people who don't believe in me or what the interview says, well, I guess I've showed up now. Shouldn't be any dicey now! I'm Olayinka Oladele, sane and discreet blogger since 2010. My pioneer blog (recently deleted and re-opened) is www.thelatestinfos.com and I also own www.naijatalkative..com However, I have other good blogs I write for and people say I've been doing well. I'm thankful! As for all the mortifying comments and jibes by people who don't know me yet, I know I have a dream to make it even bigger with the little yet titanic knowledge I've acquired. To all my young fellas out there, dream big! Yes, you can! I'm not the youngest anymore - iKnow; but as far as I'm making it young, you too can. It's easy! Provided you know the requirements of being a part of the race and put in hardwork. God bless you all! Thanks once again friends. You can google me: Olayinka Oladele, eYinka, Olaryeankarh. I'm all over the web! (I and my dear smartphone) *grins* |
