Spanish sports daily Marca claims that Samuel Eto'o's future away from Barcelona will not be decided until the saga of Didier Drogba ends,

Chelsea striker Drogba has been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge this summer, with sources in the British press most recently stating that AC Milan could lure him away for a comparatively modest fee of €18m.

With Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich looking to ring the changes up front, and Drogba's negotiations with the rossoneri said to be going swimmingly, this transfer may not be as improbable as first thought.

Chelsea, then, will have a slot open in the centre-forward position, and Samuel Eto'o of Barcelona may fit the bill.

However, it may not be as simple as a like-for-like transfer, for Internazionale are said to have renewed their interest in the Cameroonian hitman thanks to the input of new manager José Mourinho.

What does seem likely is that Eto'o will leave Camp Nou this summer, having been given permission from the blaugrana hierarchy to begin negotiating with new clubs.

But as well as Inter and Chelsea, AC Milan are also interested, although Samuel would probably be a more expensive option for them than Drogba.

As such, Eto'o may not be going anywhere until he finds out what Didier's plans are. If Drogba signs for AC Milan, Eto'o will almost certainly not join the rossoneri for obvious reasons. It could then be between Chelsea and Inter. But if Drogba stays put, a move to Milan - the city, at least - seems on the cards,

According to reports in Italy, Juventus are hoping to persuade Chelsea into loaning them forgotten man Branislav Ivanovic.

The 24-year-old Serbian was rated as one of the best young defenders in Europe and he was outstanding during last summer’s Under-21 European Championships in Holland.

Ivanovic was wanted by a host of top clubs in Europe, including Juventus, Inter, Milan and Manchester United, but it was Chelsea who won the race to sign him from Lokomotiv Moscow for €13m in January of this year.

However since arriving at Stamford Bridge, Ivanovic has become something of a forgotten man, and despite carrying no injuries, he has still yet to make his first team debut, mainly playing for the reserves.

With the likes of John Terry, Riccardo Carvalho and Alex ahead of him, Juventus are being tipped to make a loan offer to Chelsea so that Ivanovic can spend the 2008/09 season in Turin.

The Bianconeri need to sign one more centre back ahead of next season, having already confirmed Giorgio Chiellini, Nicola Legrottaglie and Olof Mellberg.

Barcelona Director of Football, Txiki Begiristain, has revealed that Arsenal are demanding that Barca midfielder Yaya Toure be included in any offer they put together for the Gunners' playmaker for Alexander Hleb.

Having lost Mathieu Flamini to AC Milan, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is looking to bring in a new top-class holding midfielder - and sees Ivory Coast international Yaya Toure, brother of Gunner Kolo Toure, as the ideal replacement for Flamini.

According to some reports, Barcekona have already agreed terms with Hleb's agent regarding his side of the proposed transfer - but the Catalan giants appear reluctant to include Toure as part of the deal.

"Nothing has been decided as yet," said Begiristain.

"But we want Yaya to stay with us and he is not on the market.

"[Barca's new manager Josep] Guardiola considers him to be an important player in his new project."

Toure has previously said he would love to be playing in the same club side as his elder brother Kolo, and it seems Arsenal, irritated by the public courting of some of their players by Spanish and Italian clubs, are prepared to play hardball and only agree transfers that offer them something as well.
