Hello experts in the house.

I just got a car from a frnd. A 2001 honda accord v4. It drives fairly smoothly, but has some isssues.

1. It leaks a little engine oil.

2. When the AC is on, and the car is in traffic , and I'm stepping on the brake while on gear 4, the engine vibrates a lot.

3. Also , when I've driven for a while, and negotiating a turn, the sterring hums loudly.( I've topped up the sterring fluid but it didn't work)

4. I also feel , it needs maintenance by a good mechanic.

Can any one in the house speciall the likes of CARDOCTOR direct me to a good mechanic that can look at the car as a whole and advise me accordingly??

Any help will be greatly appreciated.p.s I'm in lagos. Any place around gbagada. Yaba ,surulere etc will do

Hello guys. I drive a 2008 accord evil spirit. Recently it i noticed that i swerves randomly when i go over uneven roads or dips like asphalt folds. I had the ball joints and tie rods changed but it still feels loose and harder to control at speeds above 80km/hr. Someone said it is "steer bump" problem. The car runs very beautifully on smooth roads and on gallops i dnr hear any noises like bad suapensions etc. But it keeps swerving randomly on braking too.

Throttle body or the sensor(s) on it, that is the most probable culprit.

My dad has been using his 2005 EOD-4cylinder-for 5yrs. Central lock doesn't work anymore and we only use air coditioning for a day after refilling. I wonder what can be done.

Re: Thread For Honda Owners by chuks04: 10:33am On Oct 27, 2018
Goodmorning house,
I have been using this Honda city 2007 model for a while but recently I noticed that after staying long on traffic the high temperature sign will start flashing on the dashboard and eventually the car engine will stop running, and after 5 minutes or more it will start again.

Each time this happens, as the engine get cold I check the water on the radiator and that of reservoir, I noticed that the coolant water is always intact never shorts.

Tlhe two fans blows very well, the thermostat works well because when I first noticed this issue, I removed the thermostat and did a test on it to confirm if it actually working well. It was all good.

Pls I need advice on how to tackle this issue.

Thanks.
