Lol,......my sista the only reason you're not washing your hair by yourself is laziness.
Buy the products needed, untangle, preheat olive oil, wash, condition, dry and apply products. It's not hard.
You make it sound so easy grin grin

All you mentioned takes me a day to do, no jokes. Detangling alone takes me like 2 hours.

Cumulatively, rocking weaves is way cheaper. Many relaxed peeps use just few products. As a natural, you go from product to product. Each one might be cheap but the total sum is quite costly. Then if your hair swallows a lot of product, it gets even costlier.

Keeping natural hair is only cheaper if you do your hair yourself and make your products yourself. Or you just basically do not touch your hair in every 3 weeks.
Lol, except you rock synthetic weave is the above true.....

I have natural hair, I know most products my sister. *sigh* let's just "agree to disagree".

I've been natural for almost 2 years now so I know what I'm on about. I guess different hair types, different products, different experiences cool cool

Mine was October 2011, we might use slightly expensive products because we have black ppl's hair but that doesn't make us anywhere near ppl that their weaves cost $300......I'll stop now grin

As for me, I hate the sight of hair. Matter of fact, anywhere. Head, armpit, hands, legs, chest and particularly the PUBIC REGION.
Lets go natural. that way you dont have to worry about cost of keeping any hair. plus its more refreshing. And this applies to both guys and chics.

That's not even the issue. Have you seen the way those Nigerian hairdressers handle hair? like it's akpu, they handle it roughly...no thanks, I have hands too.

Very few are good, majority of them know nothing about proper hair care. All they know how to do is braid hair.
Re: Nigerian Girl With Waist-long Hair (Pictures) by Beync(f): 3:09pm On Apr 26, 2013
sanb: It was better for me....extra care is also needed when you have longer hair than if your hair is short. Aside from that, you also need to apply some form of treatment on the hair to prevent it from getting damaged....which was easier done in the saloon… cheesy
extra care indeed. even if one can do ones hair, for how long will u continue to do it urself? retouch, steam, apply treatments, stretch ets .can one even do ones hair perfectly? and these products are not cheap except u don't wont good result.even if u start, it wont be long before u go back to salon cos u don't have all the time plus the inconvenience.

Girl!! Then you're balling. $60 a week for washing?? Hell Naw!! If you go to a natural hair specialist for just straightening your hair, u pay no less than $120. As I said earlier, I have hands.

Shollypopz: ^^2
Well, now u know why I said huh........the highlighted part get as e be. Do u perm your hair?? Is your length any different when permed than when straightened?? Straightener does not perform magic except there's a magical straightener I'm not aware of.

For the hair to look that straight, it's either she perms it or straightens it and it look really healthy and long too. Not a lot of pple have relaxed long healthy hair (at least I know a lot that don't) and I said unless its natural and she straightens it out. Either way she has to be taking good care of her hair to be that long
