I believe so. Especially in the island countries such as the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Puerto Rico. The particular countries have people of many shades from a white European look, to a mulatto, to even pitch black lol. Brazil also has a big population of people that are atleast mix with african descent.

strangely enough, most latin american whites (south americans) are really descendants of Italians and not so much spain. Back in the day Italians were the ones who made up the majority of the conquistadors though they sailed for Spain. It's kind of like how the Irish sailed for the Brits. So the Spanish language dominated those areas but most of the descendants will find that their ancestry is also in the Mediterranean.

In fact in Argentina and Chile, they speak spanish but their accents are nearly identical to Italians.

EX: Christopher Columbus was really Italian
even though he sailed for Spain.

He is somewhat right, but not actually correct. As i told you before these people in the video are obviously not mixed, they are straight up predominately native Americans. These people are from Southern Mexico, where the population is predominately native, and many of them still speak their native languages.

These people in (above video) do not have southern European feature, which is obvious. If you got them confuse with certain Asian population Malay which is understandable, but still distinct from them.

This is the latest groups of Mexicans and Central Americans to enter the United States. The first waves were obviously mestizos(mix European/Native Americans) which was in during the 1920's-1950's, other group prior the them were combination of Europeans/Mestizo/Mulatto. Now this is the western part of the United States, the so called hispanic group is majority Mexicans and central Americans. You must remember the Western part of the United States used to be Mexico, so when the Americans took over, the place was already populated with people of mixed heritage from Mexico. Here is a census of the first settlers of Los Angeles, which was from Mexico. They were of mixed ancestry except of a few.

In summation in Calfornia or west coast, the majority are Mestizo(mix native American/European) second group(predominately native American) followed by whites, and few may have African blood.



Florida is mainly white cubans, who look very white, by any standards. There are a few black cubans in florida, but not many. Many of the white cubans left cuba due to Castro policies. So cuban population demographic has change which has a very large black and mixed race population, however their still many whites there.

Since the economic downtown a second wave of Puerto Ricans are moving to Florida, and many of these people are white, blacks and various different admixtures of a combination of three races mainly whites, blacks or native ancestry. Consequently the first wave of Puerto Ricans move to New york after world war 2, and many of them were as i mentioned above, and Dominicans became the next group to follow Puerto Ricans, most of them starting coming during the mid 1980's all the way to the present, most Dominicans are mulattoes, blacks, whites, and some people may have native american admixtures. Many Dominicans live in Washington Heights in New york, but they have a sizable community in New Jersey and i heard Florida as well.

These are one of the main groups, but you have many other groups people from Argentina who population is predominately white, hence they are over look. People from honduras(very multi racial) El salvador (predominately mestizos), guatemala(predominately native american/sizable mestizo population.) Peru(majority supposely mestizo, native american), i met a few whites, and even Japanese people from Peru. These are all the people i encountered since living in North America. I have been to Parguay which is interesting, both Spanish and a language called Guarani is both spoken regardless of ancestry.
