Is starcomms on strike or something?Is this true or are they giving me an excuse for poor service? I havent been able to connect for days and when it does it comes and goes from time to time and then tells me my password user name is incorrect. Its disturbing my work and ive had enough. Im in port harcourt is anyone else experiencing this?

Just the same problem am having here aswell l was unable to connect for sometime now if it does keep going on and off or password incorrect actually l use multilinks but l think the connect problem is everywhere both multilinks,starcomms,mts,etc. l have a friend that use mts and some problem am aware that nitel are on strike.

Folks, there is no perfect system anywhere in the world, that is why people is customer friendly environment will tell you that they not guarantee 100% but 90-99%.
About internet connection, being it CDMA:starcomms,visafone,reltel, GSM:MTN, glo, before you choose any one, it is very important you know these, how often you want to be using it, where you are going to be using it, which i think is very important.
I am saying this from experience, i have used GPRS MTN (shakpod), GPRS glo, 1x & Ev do starcomms, Evdo Multilinks, shuttling between my home and office.

What i discovered is that because somebody is using starcomms very well and is working for him does mean, it will work very well for. You need ask from people using it in where you want to use it. In the mist of councellors, there is safety.

For starcomms, i discovered that the 1x speed is now 115kbps instead od 225kbps.

When next you want to buy one, make sure you ask from people that are using it in your environment, so that you do waste your hard-earned money. like a friend mine told me when i was buying my 3G glo, last year

Anytime I am in Ikorodu I do experience connection time out almost every 10 mins,I think those guys need to return my money cos I m not getting value for it. I complained via mail but no response so far. U can reach them via internet@starcomms.com
