[size=13pt]Welcome back everyone! It’s time for the forum’s 3rd Mr Nairaland Contest!

Are you or is someone you know handsome, charming, and personable? Do you or does he have what it takes to be crowned Mr Nairaland? If you answered yes to both questions, then this thread is for you!

Our past contests were six months apart, however, due to some modifications, we have decided to begin the nominations in the middle of May rather than the supposed June. This will allow us more time to verify nominees.

Now, onto rules:

Rules for nominees
-Nominees must have registered on or before 1 May 2013
-Nominees must be aware of the contest and their nomination(s), and accept nomination(s) before proceeding to the next round
-Nominees must be verified by judges before proceeding to the next round

Rules for judges
-Judges may NOT vote for any contestant(s)
-Judges may NOT campaign for any contestant(s)
-Judges are to be neutral at ALL times

Rules for remaining members
-Members may NOT insult or abuse contestants
-Members should cooperate with judges, moderators and admin at all times… please

*Also, we, the judges, ask that those who choose to nominate fellow members do so in a clear manner.
Example: “I nominate Seun.” Thank you in advance!

We have five judges for this contest:

Considering the magnitude of this contest and the amount of attention it garners, judges, moderators, and administrators will strictly be adhering to the rules. Let’s make this contest run as smoothly as possible by following directions.

Verification
To be verified, nominees who are interested in participating in the competition and have accepted their nominations will be contacted by judges to submit a verification photo. Simply upload a photo of yourself holding a sign with your username.
This picture does not have to be fancy or professional at all. Only judges will have verification photos. It will not be shared. It will not be posted on Nairaland forum.

A list of verified nominees will be kept for future competitions to come. Verification photos will be deleted after the contest.

So folks, it’s time! Nominate yourself! Nominate a friend! Nominate that person whose profile pic helps you sleep at night!

And please, when nominating, post their profile links as well. That'd be lovely.
