All newspaper dynamic websites are done by the combination of the following scripting: HTML, Javascript, CSS, and few programming such as ASP, XML, or PHP. Even some do Flash Actionscripting with XML parsing dynamically too(i don't see any Nigerian newspaper sites use that, because it(Flash-based newspaper site) is good for fastest broadband users- - -that's why not many Nigerians who are broadband uers).

Some use notepad, some use HTML EDITOR software such as Dreamweaver, FrontPage, Coffee Cup HTML editor, etc. Some use internet-based secured Content Management System (CMS) to maintain web content update hourly basis instead of daily, weekly or monthly (without hiring a webmaster to do the job)

According to the view sources of ALL NIGERIANS NEWSPAPER WEBSITES I investigated at below:

Vanguard Newspaper is powered by PhlXX media, an internet-enabled publishing solution that is accessed only authorized web content edior getting their Vanguard web content across to Nigerian audiences. It is CMS access linking to PHP scripting for loading web content purpose.

Guardian Newspaper and Sun News are done by hired experienced webmaster or web content specialist. I do not know what they use software but knowledge of website coding: HTML, ASP, PHP, CSS, and Javascript.

The Punch News is powered by Atlas Systems, firm of Information and Communications Technologies, delivering world class internet solutions. It is CMS access linking to ASP scripting for loading web content purpose.

For you want to learn becoming Newspaper web content specialist/coder (still under webmaster or web developer category), go checking the existing threads at below:
