These pictures are simply amazing!

Lagos has a chance to become an international city just like Hong Kong, Dubai, London and New York City where all nationalities are welcomed.

Quit being a bore. There's no city on earth without the same ''1%'' of highly attractive areas normally showcased by their people. There's not much to New York outside Manhattan. In London, outside of the West End and maybe Canary Wharf, you're virtually back in the Victorian era. So spare us your jazz...

Lagos seems to be far ahead of other places in nigeria.

Bayelsa should have being like this by now if not for the crack heads governing that state!

django1: Lagos seems to be far ahead of other places in nigeria.

It's not about ''seems to''. It is.

Which shouldn't be too surprising since it's the economic hub of the nation. wink

In Nigeria only Lagos and Abuja have the semblance of what a city should look like. Port-Harcourt has some good layouts but no high rises and its expanding uncontrolled.

PH does not have a CBD.a CBD should be planned for that place.untill then its still a conglomeration of ikwerre villages being swallowed up by uncontrolled development at the end of the day.

I agree with you 100%. Its more like uncontrolled urbanization than actual development. There's so much wealth in the city but not much edifice that reflects it. Even the thousand and one oil companies have no high rise offices. They rather use containers and makeshift offices.
